Inside Job: Fraud is legal if you got the power and the money

From Academy Award® nominated filmmaker, Charles Ferguson ("No End In Sight"), comes INSIDE JOB, the first film to expose the shocking truth behind the economic crisis of 2008. The global financial meltdown, at a cost of over $20 trillion, resulted in millions of people losing their homes and jobs. Through extensive research and interviews with major financial insiders, politicians and journalists, INSIDE JOB traces the rise of a rogue industry and unveils the corrosive relationships which have corrupted politics, regulation and academia. Narrated by Academy Award® winner Matt Damon, INSIDE JOB was made on location in the United States, Iceland, England, France, Singapore, and China.

Journey > Destination

"We could say that meditation doesn't have a reason or doesn't have a purpose. In this respect it's unlike almost all other things we do except perhaps making music and dancing. When we make music we don't do it in order to reach a certain point, such as the end of the composition. If that were the purpose of music then obviously the fastest players would be the best. Also, when we are dancing we are not aiming to arrive at a particular place on the floor as in a journey. When we dance, the journey itself is the point, as when we play music the playing itself is the point. And exactly the same thing is true in meditation. Meditation is the discovery that the point of life is always arrived at in the immediate moment."

Make 2012 a Bucket List year

Hey, you never know the Mayans may be right (lol, about what?), but anyway, an interesting way to make 2012 a fun year is to cross everything off your Bucket List! It'll make the rest of your life more interesting too as you've already done a lot of cool shizzle! So do what you always wanted to do, see what you always wanted to see, listen to what you always wanted to hear, experience what you always wanted to experience, etc. Don't mistake this post for me going to share my entire bucket list with you, though I might some :P, actually it's not a bad idea lol, hmm let me mull it over. Starting, I actually saw a play, ok it was on the computer, but I watched the downloadable video of the play of Wilhelm Reich in Hell and it was pretty cool, recommend it to anyone, GO.

The Rum Diary

Based on a book by Hunter S. Thompson he wrote when only 22.

"I wanna make a promise to you: the reader, and I don't know if i can fulfill it tomorrow or even the day after that, but I put the bastards in this world on notice, that I do not have their best interest at heart. I will try and speak for my reader, that is my promise, and it will be a voice made of ink and rage."

Doug Stanhope: Oslo - Burning the Bridge to Nowhere

I freaking love Doug Stanhope, for me a legendary comic who says what he thinks and doesn't give a flying fuck about people's retarded beliefs or values. This is a clip of his new DVD filmed in Oslo Norway where he rips on Royal Families, being from Belgium with our own bunch of retards I can relate :p some more quotes:

Put your fucking camera away, you stupid fucking tourist of life! There's a whole generation of shitheads just filming every fucking thing they do. "I'm gonna film my entire life and watch it later!"

I don't like when minorities tell me that I can't understand racism because I'm white. I go: "No, you can't understand racism 'cause you're not white; I hear the shit they say about you when you leave the room! They don't hold back on my account."

We live in a world where people will have a GPS and a crucifix on the same dashboard — and you want me to have hope for these fuckin' monkeys on swing-sets?

Tradition and heritage are all dead people's baggage, stop carrying it. Move forward.

In Time: Where there's a will, there's a way

This movie is a bit obvious but was entertaining enough, time is literally money in this movie and what a good analogy. After all, the rich print their money, or these days just punch in a few nrs on a computer, and then loan out their summoned magick at intrest rates to leech off us etc. We pay so much bullshit taxes which is the same as time running out, money running out. The cost of living keeps rising, while the poor and middle class gets poorer the rich get richer and taxes and budget cuts pay for fuckups by banks, corporations and politicians. No evolution but devolution and stagnation so the ones in power stay in power, the media's main job is to facilitate the status quo and serve as a stage for their pawns to distract us and put themselves on their pathetic little pedestals. How long can this bullshit last?

In a future where people stop aging at 25, but are engineered to live only one more year, having the means to buy your way out of the situation is a shot at immortal youth. Here, Will Salas finds himself accused of murder and on the run with a hostage - a connection that becomes an important part of the way against the system.

Henry Hamilton: How old are you? In real time?
Will Salas: 28.
Henry Hamilton: I'm 105.
Will Salas: Good for you. You won't see 106, you have too many more nights like tonight.
Henry Hamilton: You are right. But the day comes when you've had enough. Your mind can be spent, even if your body's not. We want to die. We need to.
Will Salas: That's your problem? You've been alive too long? You ever known anyone who's died?
Henry Hamilton: For a few to be immortal, many must die.
Will Salas: What the hell is that supposed to mean?
Henry Hamilton: You really don't know, do you? Everyone can't live forever. Where would we put them? Why do you think there are time zones? Why do you think taxes and prices go up the same day in the ghetto? The cost of living keeps rising to make sure people keep dying. How else could there be men with a million years while most live day to day? But the truth is... there's more than enough. No one has to die before their time. If you had as much time as I have on that clock, what would you do with it?
Will Salas: I'd stop watching it. I can tell you one thing. If I had all that time, I sure as hell wouldn't waste it.

Philippe Weis: You'd steal from your own father.
Sylvia Weis: Is it stealing if it's already stolen?

Philippe Weis: Even if you gave a year to a million people, you're just prolonging their agony.
Sylvia Weis: We're prolonging their lives.
Philippe Weis: Flooding the wrong zone with a million years, it could cripple the system.
Will Salas: Let's hope so.
Sylvia Weis: We're not meant to live like this. We're not meant to live forever. Although I do wonder, Father, if you've ever lived a day in your life

From where to Eternity: Tony Soprano slams the Rockefellers and Morgans

The day after I see Thrive, I see this episode of the Sopranos, s2e9 From where to Eternity. In the episode the character Christopher also has a near death experience, he goes to hell, sees his father and is told by the "bouncer" this is where he will come when it's his time as well.

Tony Soprano: "Excuse me, let me tell you something, when America opened the floodgates and let all us Italians in. What do you think they were doing it for, cause they were trying to save us from poverty?! No, they did it because they needed us, they needed us to build their cities, their subways, and to make 'em richer. The Carnegies and the Rockefellers they needed worker bees and there we were. But some of us didn't wanna swarm around their hive and lose who we were, we wanted to stay Italian and preserve the things that meant something to us. Honor, and family, and loyalty. And some of us wanted a piece of the action, now we weren't educated like the Americans but we had the balls to take what we wanted. And those other fucks, those other, the the the JP Morgans, they were crooks and killers too but that was a business right, the American Way."

Dr. Jennifer Melfi : "That might all be true. But what do poor Italian immigrants have to do with you, and what happens every morning you step out of bed?"

Thrive - What on Earth will it take

Must see documentary about the world conspiracy of how the few control the many and how free energy is a way out.

THRIVE is an unconventional documentary that lifts the veil on what's REALLY going on in our world by following the money upstream -- uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives. Weaving together breakthroughs in science, consciousness and activism, THRIVE offers real solutions, empowering us with unprecedented and bold strategies for reclaiming our lives and our future.

Beware of

I got an e-mail by these sad people asking me to put adds on my site, embedding them into posts in a related manner. Kind of suspicious just before the SOPA storm isn't it. How the hell I would be embedding an add for some shit company in two posts they suggested, one about Synchromysticism in the Clone Wars cartoon, and one on books from John Lilly, I cannot fathom. I told these people to stop being lackeys for leeches, and I spit on

Mitt Romney and his stance on Medical Marijuana... and some Robert Anton Wilson

This reminds me of Robert Anton Wilson saying "I am in pain, I need medicine...
The federal government has no right to condemn me to a life of constant pain. I don't know what kind of a sadistic son of a bitch George Bush is, why he wants to leave people in pain like this. If you're gonna be in pain most of the day, you're not gonna enjoy your life much..." for not legalizing medical marijuana as a treatment for post-polio syndrome. Just cause I can, here's some videos of my hero. The clips are from Maybe Logic.

Oh how you are missed RAW.

Gorki - We zijn zo jong (we're so young)

I love this song so much I had to translate this from flemish, I even tried to have around the same amount of syllables so you can try to sing along! Go on give it a go, your language-centers in your mind will love it.

Wij treuren niet langer dan nodig
Over dingen waaraan niets valt te doen
Ondanks de tegenslagen doen wij altijd verder
We zijn zo jong

We don't sob any longer than needed
about things that cannot be helped
despite the setbacks we keep on going
We're so young

Na elke nederlaag om de zeven dagen
Breekt er altijd weer een nieuwe droomtijd aan
Op een keer dan vinden wij de goeie cijfers
We zijn zo jong
We zijn zo jong

after each defeat every other week
a new dreamtime arrives again
once we will find the right numbers
we're so young
we're so young

Er is nog een zee van tijd
En kans op de volgende prijs
Wij sterven van verlangen
Onze liefde die blijft duren
In de show van je leven
is er een zee van tijd

there's still a sea of time
a chance for the next prize
we die by desire
our love keeps lasting
in the show of your life
there is a sea of time

Onze motoren blijven nog een eeuw draaien
En Sinterklaas komt nog elk jaar op tijd
Wij hebben al de liefde van de wereld
We zijn zo jong
We zijn zo jong

our motors will keep turning another century
and santa clause still comes on time each year
we've got all the love in the world
we're so young
we're so young

Er is nog een zee van tijd
En kans op de volgende prijs
Wij sterven van verlangen
Onze liefde die blijft duren
In de show van je leven
is er een zee van tijd

there's still a sea of time
a chance for the next prize
we die by desire
our love keeps lasting
in the show of your life
there is a sea of time

Stop the Stop Online Piracy Act & Protect us from the PROTECT IP Act

Wikipedia is in a 24 hour blackout protesting the Stop Online Piracy Act and PROTECT IP Act
Imagine a World
Without Free Knowledge
For over a decade, we have spent millions of hours building the largest encyclopedia in human history. Right now, the U.S. Congress is considering legislation that could fatally damage the free and open Internet. For 24 hours, to raise awareness, we are blacking out Wikipedia.
I have to admit I am very worried about this legislation, cause US politicians are, like any other politicians, idiots that don't even read the bills they vote for, nor would most of these have a clue what these two bills entail even if they did read it...

Just Cruising

The Cruise ship Costa Concordia crash wasn't quite a scene like the Titanic ending...

Panic broke out amongst passengers and crew alike. The crew first delayed passengers wanting to lower the lifeboats by 45 minutes. Fights broke out. "Women and children first" was ignored. The captain was among the first to flee and was seen drinking alcohol before he had to take over his shift.

Men refused to let women and children go in front, even pregnant women. Most of the crew did nothing to help the evacuation proceed orderly. Sandra Rogers, 62 said "It was disgusting. Big, strong men of the crew just shoved us aside on way to the life floats. Everyone lost eachother. I myself lost sight of my daughter and granddaughters, twins of seven years old. There was a total lack of organisation. Even those who managed to reach the boats wasn't safe. Grown men jumped simultaniously in the boats. I was terrified we would capsize.

Isabelle Mougin from France (38) who was five months pregnant, begged the captain to leave the cruise ship, she was not allowed. "Nobody could leave the ship, the crew just left us. I thought we were all going to die. And the captain just left, I still can't believe he just abandoned ship."

The captain was arrested.

This is why I don't go out much... I don't like to be surrounded by humans, they're a very dangerous species of animal.

This is a commercial for my army and my navy
This is a rehearsal for all the empty promises I will be
And I won't let you down
done letting you down

This is a commercial for freedom while freedom is in hades
This is a rehearsal of incoherent double talk and maybes
And it won't let you down
done letting you down

It's okay to be their disappointment baby
It's okay to fly the flag
It's okay to be my disappointment baby
It's okay to fly the flag

This is a commercial for my army and my navy
This is a rehearsal for all the empty promises I will be
And I won't let you down
Done letting you down

"Continuous warfare is the key to social control. It keeps the public frightened and dependent.

And it keeps the wheels of industry turning without increasing the real wealth of the world. Goods must be produced, but they must not be distributed.

Better to destroy them in a ritual slaughter (Wars).

For a truly prosperous society, educated and secure, cannot be ruled by the few.

Poverty, ignorance and fear are the three pillars of authoritarian control. Without war, they all disappear."
