Terry Pratchett's Guards! Guards!

'What! A real dragon?'
The Supreme Grand Master's eyes rolled in the privacy of his hood.
'Yes, a real one. Not a little pet swamp dragon. The genuine article.'
'But I thought they were, you know... miffs.'
'They were myths and they were real,' he said loudly. 'Both a wave and a particle.'
'You've lost me there,' said Brother Plasterer.

...He is also bearing a sword presented to him in mysterious circumstances. Very mysterious circumstances. Surprisingly, therefore, there is something very unexpected about this sword. It isn't magical. It hasn't got a name. When you wield it you don't get a feeling of power, you just get blisters; you could believe it was a sword that has been used so much that it had ceased to anything other than a quintessential sword, a long piece of metal with very sharp edges. And it hasn't got destiny written all over it.
It's practically unique, in fact.
(Hilarious as "He" is not a very sharp witted bloke and the sword is a symbol for reason.)

He opened the book.
He'd been rather surprised to find, after pages and pages of pious ramblings, that the actual Summoning itself was one short sentence. Not a chant, not a brief piece of poetry, but a mere assemblage of meaningless syllables. De Malachite said they caused interference patterns in the waves of reality, but the daft old fool was probably making it up as he went along. That was the trouble with wizards, they had to make everything look difficult. All you really needed was willpower.

Two Chaos Magic Practices by Jonathan Zap

Unfortunately, "vibrations," like  "inner child" (a potent archetype and subpersonality), has, for many, taken on the cheesy, Celestine taint of New Age cliché. But looking at the world in terms of vibration is as valid as looking at it from the point of view of mathematical relationships, systems analysis, and energetic transaction. Physics tells us that there are no solid objects, that everything is vibratory. Einstein said that solid matter is just a special case of energy.
Everything we think is solid is actually patterned energy, the stuff that dreams are made of.  Even black holes don't sit still and can spin at 84% of the speed of light.

Everything seems to be vibratory, and obviously there are vibrations of varying frequencies.  I vibrate, therefore I am, says the cosmos.

Protests around the World

Brasil protests against higher public transportation prices and that so much money is going to World Cup infrastructure when so many people are suffering

Syrian Civil War - still ongoing due to a lax international community and Russia's ridiculous stance, Syria is now completely cut off from the Internet.

In Syria things are getting way out of hand, Belgian immigrant youths are going to the country to fight, they have been overheard in a video speaking dutch saying it doesn't matter wether they use kalashnikovs or knives and targetting specific ethnic and religious groups of the population.
Both sides of the conflict have committed unspeakable atrocities.

Meanwhile in Belfast, empty shop windows are being camouflaged with huge Stickers showing merchandise so it seems they are open while the G8 meeting is in town.

Didn't you corrupt and inept motherfuckers get a bailout from the people's money?

Pearl Jam - Faithful

Plaque on the wall says that no one's slept here
It's rare to come upon a bridge that has not been around
Or been stepped on
Whatever the notions, we laced in our prayers
The man upstairs is used to all of this noise
I'm through with screaming

And echoes nobody hears, it goes, it goes, it goes
Like echoes nobody hears, it goes, it goes, it goes
We're faithful, we all believe, we all believe it (4X)

And echoes nobody hears, it goes, it goes, it goes (2X)
We're faithful, we all believe, we all believe it (3X)
So faithful, we all believe, we all believe it

M.Y.T.H. is belief in the game
controls that keeps us in a box of fear
We never listen
Voice inside so drowned out
Drowned you are, you are, you are ever-y-thing
And everything is you
Me you, you me, it's all related
What's a boy to do?
Just be, darling and I will be too
Faithful to you

The Practical Kaballistic Chakra Tree of Life

For me the most incomprehensible system is the Kaballistic Tree of Life, having read around a dozen books on the subject, countless websites, it seems it's just a system where words are thrown upon words just to throw words upon words. What helps to make sense of it is Lon Milo DuQuette's explanation of the Kaballah as a system to make so many links and correspondences, which should cause a great number of synchronicities, that eventually the mind will shortcut so to speak. In that sense, I can finally see value in the Tree of Life rather than just a hopelessly confused system and can understand all the seemingly vague concepts thrown into each Sephirah.

Below is my most recent view of the tree as a practical system, combined with the chakras they seem to compliment each other here and there, helping our rational mind to overcome our programming. Mostly for chakras 3 through 5. Mostly I'm posting this so I don't freaking forget about it :p

Of course the Tree of Life is used in many other instances rather than psychological/practical. I'm eager to experiment with it in magick ritual, where one can explore the qualities of a Sephirah and be inspired by them, although while I seem to see the basic structure of such a ritual, it seems very hard to actually craft and perform one to get benefit from it, without a good example or template. Soon!

The Practical Kaballistic Chakra Tree of Life
7. Sahasrara - Kether Crown
The ineffible spiritual.

6. Ajna Third Eye - Binah Understanding & Chokmah Wisdom
Binah is intuitive insight (understanding) and Chokmah is transcendental wisdom, easy to see then how it relates to the Third Eye.

(If you have come across these attributes and not the countless others! This is in fact an edit of the post just after reading a passage in a small Kaballah book called Exploration in Jewish Mysticism by Lawrence Fine, I really should have a 24 hour draft rule, I feel really sorry for people who see posts as they just are published ;p)

(To be complete, on wikipedia the Ajna chakra is attributed to Chokmah according to some Kaballists, although others regard the third eye as corresponding to the non-emanated sephirah of da'ath (knowledge).)

Fortunately the next chakra-sephiroth combinations make more practical sense

5. Starting with the Vishudda Throat chakra of communication and expression, which is balanced between Geburah - Judgement (the root of all evil) and Chesed - Mercy. When interacting with others find the right amount of mercy and judgement to communicate and express for harmonious relations.

4. The Anahata Heart chakra & Tiphareth beauty, what else but love can lead to beauty? The most central of all things, even in the Tree of Life.

3. The Manipura Solar Plexus chakra of Will - two of the most confusing Sephiroth, being Hod and Netzach, have been explained as: Splendour and Victory, also Thought and Emotion. I like these one-word explanations best as a practical way of using the Tree of Life: Surrender and Endurance. The spiritual surrender of letting go, versus the timeless endurance of victory. Your will to choose: let go or push on.

2. The Emotional Sacral chakra - Yesod Foundation. The subconscious, the source of emotional triggers.

1. The Muladhara root chakra - Malkuth Kingdom. Focusing on survival, breadwinning, the physical.

Matrix Revolutions

Neo: I just have never...
Rama-Kandra: ...heard a program speak of love?
Neo: It's a... human emotion.
Rama-Kandra: No, it is a word. What matters is the connection the word implies. I see that you are in love. Can you tell me what you would give to hold on to that connection?
Neo: Anything.
Rama-Kandra: Then perhaps the reason you're here is not so different from the reason I'm here.

The Oracle: The power of the One extends beyond this world. It reaches from here all the way back to where it came from.
Neo: Where?
The Oracle: The source. That's what you felt when you touched those sentinels, but you weren't ready for it. You should be dead, but apparently you weren't ready for that either.

If you don't do proper Ban(e)ishing you're gonna have a bad time,
spirits might become the Bane of your existence
Bane: "If I'm not me then who am I?"

Exactly my thoughts on (self-)Divination (only though):

Niobe: The Oracle...
Morpheus: What did she tell you
Niobe: The same thing she always does, exactly what I needed to hear.

Bane: I wish you could see yourself Mr. Anderson... Blind messiah. You're a symbol for your kind, Mr. Anderson.

It's unbelievable, Trin. Light everywhere. Like the whole thing was built of light.

"Being the one is like being in love." The Oracle
To achieve the conversation with the Holy Guardian Angel we are supposed to become madly in love with it.

Love, Actually. From http://thematrix101.com
Love plays a huge role in the Matrix too. We find out programs can love in Revolutions, the parents of Sati (dear God couldn't they have found a little girl that could act?). Would Cypher have switched sides if Trinity showed him some love? (If he would have dared to confess it.) Trinity's love and belief in him fuels Neo.  If Niobe didn't still love Morpheus, would she choose to help him against Commander Lock's wishes? If Link didn't love his brothers-in-law, Tank and Dozer, would he volunteer and stay on Morpheus' ship through all the danger?
In Revolutions, Zee's love of Link led her to volunteer for the resistance army. Her impact in taking down one of the diggers is immense. Niobe's love of Morpheus is critical to her decision to offer her ship to Neo and to pilot the Hammer back to Zion. Would she trust Morpheus and his undying belief in Neo if not? It's Trinity's love that rescues Neo from the train station. When The Merovingian asks "You are really ready to die for this man?", it's Persephone that answers "She'll do it! She'll kill every one of us if she has to... she's in love." And she will. It's Trinity that gets Neo through the trials on the way to the machine city. It's Neo's love of Trinity, and now humanity that leads him both to taking on Smith, and to brokering the peace between man and machine.
Neo's final fight with Smith is a direct comment on the importance of love to this trilogy. Smith rails at Neo "Why, Mr. Anderson? Why do you do it? [...] Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. [...] And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love." Rama-Kandra would have something to say to Smith about this. Two programs, each with very different opinions on love. Has one evolved further than the other? This is ultimately why Smith loses. He's left behind in a world that is changing, with machines/programs like Rama-Kandra paving the way to a future where maybe machines and humans can find more common ground instead of focusing on their differences.

This is a world that has love to thank for its existence. This is a world Neo gives to them, a world brought about by his ultimate sacrifice. This is a world where eradication of the enemy is seen for what it is: a symptom of the problem, not a solution. This is a world where the creator and its creation have the potential to live fruitfully in peace and cooperation. Neo has given his children, both mechanical and biological, a world where a machine can learn to love.

And why would it be corny, love is all! Nothing matters without love.

Chokmah & Binah?
I take from the ending that faith (another attribute of Binah aka the Understanding Sephirah) is more important than Wisdom. (The faithful Oracle beats the wise Architect.)
You can't have one without the other for salvation, yet Faith will take you further.
As in you can be as wise as you want, without faith you won't get that far.
To be fair, I deduced this mostly because I need to have more faith myself.
(sorry to people who saw the confusing earlier edits lol)

The Oracle: What about the others?
The Architect: ...What others?
The Oracle: The ones that want out.
The Architect: Obviously they will be freed.
The Oracle: I have your word?
The Architect: What do you think I am? Human?

The Matrix reboots, and the Architect encounters the Oracle in a park. They agree that the peace will last "as long as it can", and that all humans will be offered the opportunity to leave the Matrix. The Oracle tells Sati that she thinks they will see Neo again. Seraph asks the Oracle if she knew this would happen, and she replies that she did not know, but she believed.

Demons, Programs, semantics!

“If we can’t wake up to the fact that deep down inside we are good,
then we deserve to remain asleep dreaming we are evil.”
Lon Milo DuQuette

Agent Smith: Surprised to see me?
Neo: No.
Agent Smith: Then you're aware of it.
Neo: Of what?
Agent Smith: Our connection. I don't fully understand how it happened, perhaps some part of you imprinted on to me, something overwritten or copied, it is at this point irrelevant. What matters is whatever happened, happened for a reason.
Neo: And what reason is that?
Agent Smith: I killed you Mr. Anderson, I watched you die, with a certain satisfaction I might add. And then something happened. Something that I knew was impossible but it happened anyway. You destroyed me Mr. Anderson. Afterward, I knew the rules, I understood what I was supposed to do, but I didn't. I couldn't. I was compelled to stay, compelled to disobey. And now here I stand because of you Mr. Anderson, because of you, I am no longer an Agent of this system, because of you I've changed, I'm unplugged, a new man so to speak. Like you, apparently, free.
Neo: Congratulations.
Agent Smith: Thank you. But, as you well know appearances can be deceiving, which brings me back to the reason why we're here. We are not here because we're free, we're here because we are not free. There is no escaping reason, no denying purpose, because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exist.
Multiple Smiths: It is purpose that created us. Purpose that connects us. Purpose that pulls us, that guides us, that drive us. It is purpose that defines, purpose that binds us.
Agent Smith: We are here because of you Mr. Anderson. We're here to take from you what you tried to take from us. Purpose.

Now relate to this excerpt of Lon Milo DuQuette's Angels, Demons and Gods of the New Millennium:
Science tells us that we use only a tiny portion of our brains, and if our full potentials were realized we could exercise god-like powers – perhaps even program our VCRs. Aleister Crowley wrote, “The spirits of each Goeta are portions of the human brain.” Each section is endowed with particular powers and dedicated to executing specific tasks. Brain surgeons know that if you stimulate different areas of the brain with an electrical current the patient will react in different ways. Poke here, the left index finger twitches; poke there, the patient smells burning rubber, or recalls a childhood memory.
Could it be that in the matrix of the untapped recessed of our brains there are little areas that, if properly isolated, stimulated, and directed, are capable of performing all manner of wonders? Even more thrilling is the prospect that the brain and nervous system represent only the visible spectrum of vast invisible mind – a universal intelligence encompassing the consciousness of every monad in the cosmos. If this is so, our brains are merely terminals in a great intelligence network; the different areas functioning as keys on a keyboard. Activated with skill, they can generate messages and trigger commands to corresponding quadrants of the universal system.
Under this scenario the debate over the objective or subjective reality of the spirits becomes irrelevant. Each magician’s microcosmic Goetic spirit Sitri not only corresponds with every other magician’s Sitri, but also resonates sympathetically with the great macrocosmic Sitri. As we conjure Sitri to evoke the passions of the girl next door, we are also rubbing elbows with the same “enchantment” that draws magnetic negatives to positives, causes atoms to unite to form molecules, and lures Shakti to Shiva.
If  a Goetic demon is simply the power and potential of 1/72nd of the human brain, why is it considered an evil spirit? Is it because it punches the time-clock for Lucifer and gets bonuses for making your life miserable? Is it because it hates you because it is stuck in hell while you are free to eat pizza in your Porsche and stay up late and watch Letterman?
Like it or not, we all come hardwired with a complete set (twelve six-packs) of Goetic demons. Occasionally we unwittingly catch one and put it to work whenever we are forced to discipline ourselves to learn a specific skill, or in times of stress when we are required to draw upon extraordinary wit or courage or talent. Most of the time, however, they just run amok at our expense as we allow them to randomly discharge their energy in whichever direction offers the least resistance. They are units of untamed natural force within ourselves that we have ignored, denied, or disowned. They surface to work their mischief when our will is ambiguous and our resistance is low. After you have committed and embarrassing act of unbelievable stupidity you are referring to them when you slap your forehead and scream “I am my own worst enemy!” As long as they are ignored and uncontrolled, they are as dangerous as hungry beasts in an abandoned zoo.
Is it any wonder they are reluctant to be summoned into the triangle? Is it any wonder they try to frighten us into abandoning the operation by assuming unpleasant and terrifying forms? We have seen fit to be the absentee landlord to this rough neck crew for our entire life, we cannot expect them to be happy to see us the first time we appear at the door demanding that they clean up the place.
Besides being stubborn and scary, Goetic spirits have earned the “evil spirit” reputation because a small (but very noisy) percentage of magicians who involve themselves heavily in Goetic operations become quite mad. The cause of this embarrassing phenomenon can often be traced to a breach in the formula os Goetic evocation, an imbalance in the fundamental equation…(here DuQuette offers a specific example, too long to reproduce here)
Sadly, I have witnessed more than one mental casualty on the Goetic battlefield. Once it is discovered how easy it is to call up these critters, and how effectively they can be made to do your bidding, it becomes very tempting to call them all up and try to have them do everything for you. More often than not, this is a bad idea. You may think you are summoning the cooling winds to refresh your heated brow, when it’s embarrassingly obvious to all of your former friends that you’re only blowing your mind.
While I certainly do not claim to be the world’s greatest Goetic magician, I have practiced the art for nearly twenty years and feel qualified to at least voice my opinion on the subject, and perhaps even offer some words of advice. I feel that Goetic evocation can be an important part of a modern magician’s arsenal of skills. First and foremost, it requires that the magician establish a vital link with a higher consciousness – call it God the Holy Guardian Angel, the Higher Self. the Superconscious Mind, or whatever. Secondly, in order to understand its subtleties and wield its power, the magician is forced to confront important emotional issues and character defects that, left unresolved, will continue to hinder his or her spiritual evolution. Even in a clinical setting, such confrontations are seldom pleasant. Finally, equilibrium must be achieved in all aspects of the magician’s life, balancing the higher spiritual aspirations against the problems and challenges of everyday living. Properly executed, this is not only powerful magick but a recipe for good mental health.
As far as the evocation technique itself is concerned, I believe  it is purely a matter of artistic taste. There are those whose respect for tradition and sense of art demands that every step of the evocation be executed precisely as outlined in the Sloane manuscripts. Traditional evocations are a thrill to behold. The reader who has been lucky enough to witness an evocation conducted by C. (Poke) Runyon in Southern California has seen a master at work.
Personally I do not use the classic versions of the conjurations and constraints, nor do I protect my circle with the various Chrislemew holy names. I believe for me to identify with mythological characters I do not admire or guard my circle with the names of gods I do not worship would not only be hypocritical, but also dangerous. I do, however, acknowledge and incorporate the key elements that make this form of magick work:
  • I use the circle and triangle surrounded by words and holy names sacred to me.
  • I utilize talismans displaying the spirit’s sigil, and the standard pentagrams and hexagrams of Solomon on my vestments.
  • I ceremonially bathe and dress.
  • I purify, consecrate, banish, and open temple with appropriate ceremony.
  • I induce a trance of righteous authority by the recitation of the Gnostic Creed and Anthem from Crowley’s Gnostic Mass.
  • I recite a customized version of the Preliminary Invocation of the Goeta.
  • I conjure in the Enochian language with the First Call and a brief Enochian summons.
  • I welcome the spirit upon its appearance.
  • I give it a brief, unambiguous order and a time limit for its execution and demand from the spirit an oath that it will be carried out.
  • I give it license to depart after I tell it that I will be a kind and generous master as long as it faithfully serves me. I also inform the spirit that if it should prove disobedient I will punish it, and it necessary destroy it.
  • I banish and wait until all vestige of a “spooky” feeling disappears.
  • I keep the spirit’s sigil in a prepared container and watch for signs of it working on my behalf. If it fails to execute the charge in the prescribed time, I conjure it again and torture its sigil in fire while I remind it of its original agreement. Failing again, I conjure it one more time, destroy its seal completely and never acknowledge its existence again. Note: You will soon run out of spirits if you demand outrageous or unreasonable things. The Book outlines what these fellows do. Don’t be a complete jerk.
I have discovered it is unwise to evoke a spirit to solve a problem until I am positive I have exhausted all other avenues of resolution. If you want to hurt someone, it is much more effective (and far more painful) to just punch him or her in the nose and take the consequences. Asking a Goetic spirit to do it for you only reveals to the demon that you are a coward and unworthy of faithful service.

Neo and the Oracle VS Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford Remix

The Oracle: So... let's get the obvious stuff out of the way.
Neo: You're not human, are you?
The Oracle: Well, it's tough to get any more obvious than that.

God is.

Neo: If I had to guess, I'd say you were a program, from the Machine world. [looks at Seraph] So is he.
The Oracle: So far so good.
Neo: But if that's true, that could mean you're a part of the system, another kind of control.
The Oracle: Keep going.
Neo: I suppose the most obvious question is: how can I trust you?
The Oracle: Bingo. It is a pickle, no doubt about it. Bad news is there's no way you can really know if I'm here to help you or not, so it's really up to you. Just have to make up your own damn mind to either accept what I'm going to tell you, or reject it. Candy?
Neo: ... You already know if I'm going to take it.
The Oracle: Wouldn't be much of an oracle if I didn't.
Neo: But if you already know, how can I make a choice?
The Oracle: Because you didn't come here to make the choice. You've already made it. You're here to try to understand why you made it. [Neo eventually takes the candy] I thought you'd have figured that out by now.
Neo: Why are you here?
The Oracle: Same reason. I love candy.
Neo: But why help us?
The Oracle: We're all here to do what we're all here to do. I'm interested in one thing, Neo, the future. And believe me, I know: the only way to get there is together.
Neo: Are there other programs like you?
The Oracle: Oh, well, not like me. But... look, see those birds? At some point a program was written to govern them. A program was written to watch over the trees, and the wind, the sunrise, and sunset. There are programs running all over the place. The ones doing their job, doing what they were meant to do, are invisible. You'd never even know they were here. But the other ones, well, we hear about them all the time.

God can only realize Itself by becoming Many
and then experiencing all possibilities
through the adventures of Its many parts.

Neo: I've never heard of them.
The Oracle: Oh, of course you have. Every time you've heard someone say they saw a ghost, or an angel. Every story you've ever heard about vampires, werewolves, or aliens, is the system assimilating some program that's doing something they're not supposed to be doing.
Neo: Programs hacking programs, why?

I know of no better definition of the under-lying theory of Qabalistic magick and spirit evocation than his last sentence: "Gods, archangels, angels, spirits, intelligences, and demons are personifications of all our abilities and potential abilities - a wondrous hierarchy of consciousness that represents the subdivisions of our own soul."

The Oracle: They've their reasons, usually a program chooses exile when it faces deletion.
Neo: Why would a program be deleted?
The Oracle: Maybe it breaks down, maybe a better program is created to replace 'em, happens all the time. And when it does, a program can either choose to hide here, or return to the source.
Neo: The machine mainframe.

The Secret is
God and I will achieve Supreme Enlightenment
at the same moment.

The Oracle: Yes, where you must go. Where the path of the One ends. You've seen it. In your dreams, haven't you? The door made of light. What happens when you go through the door.
Neo: I see (the) Trinity, and something happens, something bad, she starts to fall, and then I wake up.

God can only realize Itself by becoming Many
and then experiencing all possibilities
through the adventures of Its many parts.

The Oracle: Do you see her die?
Neo: No.
The Oracle: You have the sight now Neo. You are looking at the world without time.
Neo: Then why can't I see what happens to her?
The Oracle: We can never see passed the choices we don't understand.
Neo: Are you saying I have to choose wether Trinity lives or dies?

Undivided God is pure potentiality
and realizes Nothing.

The Oracle: No you've already made the choice, now you have to understand it.
Neo: No I can't do that, I won't.

My love for God and God's Love for Me springs from
the Great Secret we share.

The Oracle: You have to.
Neo: Why?
The Oracle: Because you're the One.
Neo: What if I can't? What happens if I fail.
The Oracle: Then Zion will fall.
The ultimate purpose for My existence is to
exhaust My individual potentiality.

The Meaning

"For I am divided for love's sake, for the chance of union.
This is the creation of the world,
that the pain of division is as nothing,
and the joy of dissolution all."
Aiwass

The Secret of the Shem-Ha-Mephorash

The last written words of Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford

God is.

Undivided God is pure potentiality
and realizes Nothing.

God can only realize Itself by becoming Many
and then experiencing all possibilities
through the adventures of Its many parts.

The ultimate purpose for My existence is to
exhaust My individual potentiality.

My love for God and God's Love for Me springs from
the Great Secret we share.

The Secret is

God and I will achieve Supreme Enlightenment
at the same moment.

The time to hesitate is through

I'm slowly and stubbornly starting to realize that things aren't going to get more interesting, I'm going to have to get more interesting. So I just keep on reading and am nearly finished with my two kabbalah books (btw, The Kabbalah Decoder by Janet Berenson-Perkins is quite bad. It's like Kabbalah and everything the author can relate to it for dummies, but being very visual, it's serving a purpose) I started. It was in the evening so I put on the first Matrix movie as background noise while reading, it had been too long since I've seen it anyway, and while I fully realize how much of a cliché it is I experienced some interesting synchronicities.

While Neo is being led around the Nebuchadnezzar ship by Morpheus and we see this, I am reading this passage in the Chicken Qabalah:
This stems from the Qabalistic doctrine concerning the exiled condition of the human soul.
Now, when I say "exiled" I'm not referring to the oldsuperstition about Adam and Eve getting kicked out of the Garden of Eden, and now we're all under some kind of bad ju-ju from an abusive creator. And I'm certainly not talkingabout that obscene and perverted doc-trine known as original sin. Whoever theignorant, woman-hating, insecure, irrational, terrified, guilt-ridden, diabolical, self-despising horse's ass was who came up with that diseased and malevolent concept should have beenthrown into the Nebuchadnezzar Institute for the Criminally Insane. The ridiculous belief that humanitycould be cursed and condemned to eternal torment because mythological characters fiddled with the wrong fruit has caused more suffering and mental illness than any other "religious" or political concept in history (coughing).

Later, while Neo is with the Oracle, I'm reading this bit:

I'VE TITLED TODAY'S TALK "Gematria, Notariqon and Temura-Games Qabalists Play." I can tell by the looks on your guileless faces that you have been looking forward to this discourse. After all, isn't this what most of you think Qabalah is all about-playing games with numbers, and letters, and words, until you decipher a personal message fromGod explaining the secrets of creation and affirming the factthat you are the Holy Chosen One? Well, my hapless hatchlings, by playing these games you can, indeed, discover the secrets of creation. You may even become afflicted with the
knowledge that you are, in fact, the Holy ChosenOne. (For God's sake-please don't tell anybody') But I think that it's only fair to warn you that Qabalistic games are very powerful, and different from
any other games you have ever played.

I find myself pondering when I'm going to get off my ass and kick this Qabalistic game into full gear when...

Oracle: OK, now I'm supposed to say, "Hmm, that's interesting, but... " then you say...
Neo: ..."but what?"
Oracle: But... you already know what I'm going to tell you.
Neo: I'm not The One.
Oracle: Sorry, kid. You got the gift, but it looks like you're waiting for something.
Neo: What?
Oracle: Your next life, maybe. Who knows? That's the way these things go.

from the movie Empire Records
I was wondering if there was any Hebrew in the Matrix Digital Rain (Empire Records?!) effect but apparently there isn't, it is however mirrored Japanese, the other language I'm (slowly) learning. Omoshiroi desu ne?
Furthermore note the next Chicken Qabalah passages dealing with Tarot correspondences to the four worlds, corresponding with the scene when Trinity kisses Neo and he is inspired to wake up and kick Agent's Smith ass. (sorry if I missed any typos, i don't understand why copying PDF text to blogger has to be such a damn pain either)

Now think about the Court Card Kings as representing Atzilurh (the Archetypal World), and, at the same time rep-resenting the highest part of each of our souls, the Chiah (the Life-Force);
AT: Okay.
LBC: Queens represent the second highest world, Briah (the Creative World), and our Neshamah (the SoulIntuition). Princes represent Yetzirah (the Formative World), and the Ruach, our Intellect; and finally, Princesses represent the lowest world, Assiah (the Material World) and the lowest part of our soul, the Nephesh (the Animal Soul). Follow me?
AT: Why yes. Amazingly enough, I believe I do.
LBC: Okay... listen up. Assiah, the material world we see around us, is just the lowest vibratory expression of the universe. It is where the pure consciousness of Deityis so slowed down-so doped up-that it actually crystallizes. It is where light and energy become matter and the invisible becomes visible. The Nephesh, the Animal Soul, is our own personal version of Assiah. It is the only world our Nephesh recognizes. From this extremely limited point of view, both Deity and you and me are
trapped, exiled in a frozen prison of matter. We are a Princess who has forgotten her royal birthright. We have fooled ourselves into believing that Assiah is the only reality. We identify ourselves com-pletely with this lowest level of divine consciousness and the lowest part of our soul. But there is a way out-away to escape the prison of matter and live in the bliss of the highest Qabalistic world.

A classic fairytale shows us the way.
A Princess, a daughter of a King and Queen, is the victim of a magic spell and falls into a deep coma. Acharming Prince (also the son of a King and Queen) sees the motionless perfection of this sleeping beauty and falls hopelessly in love with her image. Even though she is asleep (and unlikely to respond in kind) the Prince stoops down into her sarcophagus and kisses her. The pure love coursing through his lips is the magic that awakens the Princess. She is lifted from her tomb and marries the Prince, the act of which simultaneously makes her the Queen and him the King.

That's where the fairytale stops, but in the Qabalah, the new King then makes his new Queen pregnant. After doing this, he rolls over and goes to sleep. The Queen gives birth to twins, a Prince and a Princess, who leave the castle for adventures of their own. They get separated (later in the series - edited, blast my memory!). She gets cursed-falls asleep-yada yada yada-we know the story from there.

That's how Kings are made. If there were no Princesses - there could be no Kings. She may be asleep, she may be slumbering in the deepest forest, guarded by height-challenged mining engineers, but without her redemption the old sleeping King will never reawaken, and the entire electricity of the universe will short-circuit. This two-way incestuous circuitry is the dynamo that creates and sustains the universe.

While I just started the chapter on Gematria and am quite unfamiliar with it, I worked out my first name Ringo according to Lon's system (which apparently does not match with this calculator) equates to either 269 or 333. 69 is the house nr of my 2nd appartement I lived by myself in and 333 is self explanatory. I'll have to check out what the nrs line up with later.
If I use the online calculator my name matches up perfectly with the following four words according to all three the Hebrew/English/Simple calculations it uses: Cannabis (my nemesis and arguable biggest block to "enlightenment"), Nordic (my mother is 50/50 norwegian-german and I'll probably start exploring norse mythology soon), Animate (Anime, my favorite kind of distraction, also Animatrix), and Healbot (referencing an addon of the game WoW of which my sub is running out and I haven't played in weeks finally quitting that time-drain, and perhaps also my possible healing career which is on hold for a while now, as an NLP and hypnotherapist and reiki practitioner - and ofcourse bot-droid-dedroidify.) I think it's safe to say I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this.

This was a scheduled post made last night, I had my 2 days off now so had some time to post I hope I'll be able to post while working in the shop, and hope even more I'm able to get out of that job soon. I might even grow some sense and do something about it instead of just hoping.

It's all fun and games

We can all go home now

In the beginning there was nothing (Ain); and as the nothing became aware of itself it also realized the limitlessness (Ain Soph) of its being. This realization expanded and with more awareness came the birthing of limitless light (Ain Soph Aur).

This limitless light felt the urge to create- and from it emanated Divine Intelligence – Kether.

All things needing balance - in its wisdom Kether split and from this source of being the remaining 9 spheres became emanations of light, knowledge, mercy, severity, beauty, love, glory, imagination and finally rest in the Kingdom of Earth - Malkuth.

I'm no longer an angelist! Hell no! I'm a Chicken Qabalist, and I don't worry about it anymore.

In all seriousness I picked up the very visual The Kabbalah Decoder by Janet Berenson-Perkins from the library, and while it was irking the angels out of me at the start, I realized I had best read Lon Milo DuQuette's Chicken Qabalah along with it and thanks to that I'm finally finally starting to learn from this system and appreciate it! Pro-tip, learn about the Four Worlds first before you try to grasp the tree of life:

  • Atziluth - The archetypal World - Chiah
Undiluted Life force itself, our true identity
All other parts are veils of the Chiah.

  • Briah - The Creative World - Neshamah
Intuition, the seat of our transcendent awareness.
Spirits and every other denizen of objective reality are all in your head, only you have no idea how infinitely huge your head is!
Intuition rises above the thinking process
infinite, in touch with energies and levels of consciousness our ruach would not understand even if it could conceive of them.
  • Yetzirah - The Formative World - Ruach
The intellect, vehicle of self-awareness (thinking and consciousness is not the same)
Ruach part of your soul that monopolizes your attention that you identify yourself completely with the thinking process.
"I think, therefore I am"

  • Assiah - The Material World - Nephesh
Animal vitality or soul
Not the physical body but instincts, primitive appetites, emotions, sex drive, survival.

Let's keep it crusty:

Assiah, the crust of Nephesh.
Nephesh forms the crust of the Ruach.
Ruach forms the crust of Neshamah.
Neshamah forms the crust of the Chiah.

Still confused? Have a seat.

Material World: Actual chair
Formative World: Blueprint for a specific type of chair
Creative World: The idea of a chair
Archetypal World: Inspiration for the idea of a chair

From the Chicken Qabalah:

I hear the Qabalah is based on the Bible. Do I have to believe in the Bible?

Hell no! You're a Chicken Qabalist! Don't worry about it. You don't have to believe in anything. If the Bible leaves a bad taste in your mouth, welcome to the club. But before you throw old King James
out the window, I'd like to point out that the Bible is holy - but so are the phonebook,Webster's Dictionary, Robert's Rules of Order and the menu at McDonalds. As you will learn from the Ten
Cornmand-Rants. Everything is holy and anything is capable of being the vehicle of divine revelation.

It still amazes me that seemingly normal people-folks with pagers and computers-folks who call fill out their own tax forms and program their VCRs, can walkaround and smile with this malignant spiritual tumor nestled deep within their otherwise intelligent brains. It's not only absurd, it's downright toxic! The story of Adam and Eve was originally written as a Qabalistic fable. It, and many of the other "Holy Scriptures," were crafted to illustrate profound cosmological and spiritual principles. They were created by and for very smart and highly educated specialists in the field of spiritual literature. They are technical texts that were never intended to be consumed like horror comics, and then misinterpreted to further the ambitions of mean-spirited religious bullies (coughing) and others who just can't seem to (coughing) resist the temptation to enslave the minds and the sex-lives of their fellow creatures (coughing).

Accelerating Change, my ass

A crapload of thinkers keep repeating that change is happening at a faster rate, technology improves faster and faster and soon the singularity will make things very weird! OH NOES WHAT WILL WE DO THEN?!

Cut to Apple announcing their new laptop has a whopping five hours more battery life.
Nintendo's Wii-U which lets you play your next-gen game mobile was ignored cause of stupid timing.
Sony's big innovations are a fucking touchpad and the ability to stream your game to the internet, and it's now Playstation italic design mode, oooh!
And Microsoft is just plain fucking retarded, seriously what are they smoking? Giving the middle-finger to all their potential and braindead customers.

Next-gen technology, y u not even slightly impressive?
ALL I WANT IS FOR THIS STUPID FUCKING PLANET TO BECOME MORE INTERESTING!
WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG!?

added for wanting: HOLOGRAMS!

Hacker Faces More Jail Time Than The Convicted Steubenville Rapists He Exposed

A 26-year-old farm dweller who helped expose the rape of a teenage girl is facing up to 5x more jail time than the high school football members who publicly assaulted the girl. The Steubenville rape case became a national firestorm after it was revealed that dozens of people had witnessed the assault at a party and then shared pictures and social media updates of the event mocking the girl.
Angered that a small town was turning their back on justice, several hacktivist groups got involved, including Deric Lostutter, who helped post a video on the football team’s website outing the assailants and bringing national attention to their crimes.
“If convicted of hacking-related crimes, Lostutter could face up to 10 years behind bars—far more than the one- and two-year sentences doled out to the Steubenville rapists,” reports Mother Jones, in an exclusive interview with Lostutter.
The first-time digital activist claims he never hacked the page, but was the masked man in the video. His relatively light touch reportedly didn’t stop the FBI from treating him like a world-class terrorist. “As I open the door to greet the driver, approximately 12 FBI SWAT team agents jumped out of the truck, screaming for me to ‘Get the fuck down!’ with M-16 assault rifles and full riot gear, armed, safety off, pointed directly at my head,” Lostutter recalls on his own blog.
The excessive force and even worse penalty highlights why many are calling for a reform of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFA), which treats principled hacking on par with the worst federal crimes. The CFA came to national attention last year after respected Internet prodigy, Aaron Swartz, committed suicide after harsh prosecutors threatened him with 50+ years in prison for freeing academic articles from a paywalled database.
“We should prevent what happened to Aaron from happening to other Internet users,” wrote Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (CrunchGov Grade: A) about her (failed) “Aaron’s Law” bill.
While the hacker did violate the law, they are the newest evolution in the beloved American tradition of civil disobedience. “It was everything that I’d ever preached, and now there’s this group of people getting off the couch and doing something about it. I wanted to be part of the movement,” recalls Lostutter, of the Hacktivist mission-statement videos that inspired him to get involved.
Like many first-time activists before him, he seems like a typical American, not a thrill-seeking vigilante. “A 26-year-old corporate cybersecurity consultant, Lostutter lives on a farm with his pit bull, Thor, and hunts turkeys, goes fishing, and rides motorcycles in his free time. He considers himself to be a patriotic American; he flies an American flag and enjoys Bud Light,” writes Josh Harkinson of Mother Jones.
U.S. law needs to be to be updated to reflect the values of the free flow of information. Even though the acts were illegal, it’s hard to see what Lostutter did was wrong. It’s a shame the courts could sentence him with a punishment that treats his activism as worse than sexual assault.

Getting real tired of your portrayal of hypnosis Hollywood

I've no idea who'd wanna watch this shit, and I'm again furious at the retarded portrayal of hypnosis by Hollywood. Ok we've put you in a trance, feel relaxed? Yes. (Like anyone would say "yes I'm hypnotized") Now put your fist in the fire, oh sure! That wouldn't startle me at all!

*scratchin' my head*

Finished PKD's The Divine Invasion

Linda Fox said, "Each person on Earth will have to choose between his yetzer ha-ra and
his yetzer ha-ru. You choose me and so I saved you . . . you choose the goat-thing and I
cannot save you. In your case I was the one you chose. The battle is waged for each soul
individually. That is what the rabbis teach. They have no doctrine of fallen man as a
whole. Salvation is on a one by one basis.

He woke up in the morning with the Fox against him, her hair brushing his face, and he
said to himself, This is actually so; it is not a dream, and the evil goat-creature lies dead
on the roof, my particular goat-thing that came to degrade my life.
This is the woman I love, he thought as he touched the dark hair and the pale cheek. It is
beautiful hair and her lashes are long and lovely, even as she sleeps. It is impossible but
it is true. That can happen. What had Elias told him about religious faith? 'Certum est
quia impossibile est." "This is therefore credible, just because it is absurd." The great
statement by the early Church father Tertullian, regarding the resurrection of Jesus
Christ. "Et sepultus resurrexit; certum est quia impossibile est.'' And that is the case here.

What a long way I have gone, he thought, stroking the woman's bare arm. Once I
imagined this and now I experience this. I am back where I began and yet I am totally
elsewhere from where I began! It is a paradox and a miracle at the same time. And this,
even, is California, where I imagined it to be. It is as if in dreaming I presaw my future
reality; I experienced it beforehand.
And the dead thing on the roof is proof that this is real. Because my imagination could
not give rise to that stinking beast whose mind glued itself to my mind and told me lies,
told me ugly stories about a fat, short woman with bad skin. An object as ugly as itself-a
projection of itself.
Has anyone loved another human as much as I love her? he asked himself, and then he
thought, She is my Advocate and my Beside-Helper. She told me Hebrew words that I
have forgotten that describe her. She is my tutelary spirit, and the goat-thing came all the
way here, three thousand miles, to perish when she put her fingers against its flank. It
died without even a sound, so easily did she kill it. She was waiting for it. That is-as she
said-her job, one of her jobs. She has others; she consoled me, she consoles millions; she
defends; she gives solace. And she is there in time; she does not arrive too late.

Did you realize that? That the Fox has known you totally, for a very long time?"
"The goat-creature didn't surprise her," he said.
"Nothing surprises the yetzer ha-toy of a human being," Emmanuel said.
"Will I ever see you again?" Herb Asher asked.
"Not as you see me now. Not as a human figure such as yourself. I am not as you see
me; I now shed my human side, that derived from my mother, Rybys. Zina and I will
unite in a syzygy which is macrocosmic; we will not have a soma, which is to say, a
physical body distinct from the world. The world will be our body, and our mind the
world's mind. It will also be your mind, Herbert. And the mind of every other creature
that has chosen its yetzer ha-toy, its good spirit. This is what the rabbis have taught, that
each human-but I see you know this; Linda has told you. What she has not told you is a
later gift that she holds in store for you: the gift of ultimate exculpation for your life in
its entirety. She will be there when you are judged, and the judgment will be of her
rather than you. She is spotless, and she will bestow this perfection on you when final
scrutiny comes. So fear not; your ultimate salvation is assured. She would give her life
for you, her friend. As Jesus said, 'Greater love has no man than that he give up his life
for his friends.' When she touched the goat-creature she-well, I had better not say.
"She herself died for an instant," Herb Asher said.
"For an instant so brief that it scarcely existed."
"But it did occur. She died and returned. Even though I saw nothing."
"That is so. How did you know?"
Herb Asher said, "I could feel it this morning when I looked at her sleeping; I could feel
her love."

When the poor cripple by the pool did lie
Full many years in misery and pain,
No sooner he on Christ had set his eye,
But he was well, and comfort came again.

I finished this amazing book by visionary Philip K. Dick and was blown away, I decided to do a one card tarot reading and drew the Seven of Cups.
I opened my book on the Tarot (Renée Maas - Tarot: An Open Book) to find its meaning, but I arrived on the page which had the title "The Tarot and the Kabbala" first. Pretty awesome since PKD talks about the Torah throughout the book. Many meanings for any card, this translation suits my interpretation best: In general this card points to a need to narrow your focus. When it appears, you are probably trying to do too much, and doing most of it not very well. BRB, studying everything about the Torah and Kabbalah. What's funny is, while I was opening the Tarot Book I heard someone outside on the street yell GODDAMMIT in flemish (Godverdomme!).
