Battlestargate Galactica Symbolism (updated)

Along with earlier post "Are we the Evil that we see?" ties in nicely the storyline of the new Battlestar Galactica. (Spoiler alert! Article updated for latest episode) It seems that the Cylons and Humans will eventually have to come together and realize their interconnectedness to find peace and fulfillment.

The Cylons have even started shooting their own who wanted to do some cold reprogramming after even the raiders were acting beyond their programming, in other words their BS. Or was this programming of a higher or deeper level, or was it emerging consciousness? In the latest episode even the Centurions who now have the gift of reason showed signs of imminent rebellion and there was an attempt to obliterate the Six model line, after D'Anna's line already has been put to sleep.

Among the humans too the ones who realized they were Cylons from the start go beyond theirs (or are they?) and stay on the Human side, on the only side they really know, the one of their friends. Inevitably Hera (Isis), the Human-Cylon Hybrid of Sharon & Helo will have a role to play in this, for one thing her blood had amazing regenerative properties as it healed president Roslin from her cancer and perhaps she may heal much more. Until things got crazy in the latest episode as the Cylon programming of Tory has really come through, as she 'saved' the second hybrid baby. I hadn't even thought of that before that scene.

The show is amazing for any conspiracy and consciousness explorer, and just excellent period. Included in the show have been the use of entheogens for visions, suicide bombings as the last refuge against a seemingly unstoppable self-created enemy, faith versus reason, torture and prisoner abuse, media manipulation and politics, betrayal and revenge and forgiveness, war on terror and civil liberties, trust, cold reason and survival versus compassion and heavy sacrifice, human polytheism versus the Cylon monotheism and much more. Executive producer Ronald D. Moore has said of the Cylons "They have aspects of Al Qaeda, and they have aspects of the Catholic Church, and they have aspects of America."

The Human Survivors seek the path to Earth not fully realizing what destiny lies ahead, and of course in the temple and the Eye of Jupiter we can find some wonderful stargate symbolism (top and left corner in second image), as you can see in this vid along with some of the other topics I mentioned.

Southland Tales, Sri Yantra, and the Butterfly Effect

Steve Willner at Labyrinth of the Psychonaut has an amazing synchromystic trilogy of wonderful videos up. You can still donate something for his jaw surgery for which he has to raise 54,300 dollars! Anyone who donates $100 or more at his website labyrinthofthepsychonaut.com will receive all of the High Resolution vids he has for sale at his site, as well as a LOP TShirt once they are printed later this month.
The vids are just amazing, the most recent trilogy - what a treat by the way - combining a lot of synchs again starting with partly-Philip K. Dick-inspired Southland tales, Arthur C. Clarke's 2001 and many more. I really look forward to Steve's vids each time, they're the best form of entertainment on the planet I find. If synchromysticism gets more popular it could really help to enlighten a lot of people in a lot of areas and be a great catalyst for more too.

New X-Files movie: I want to Believe

X-Files: I want to believe teaser trailer

The Secret Sun linked 2 great vids of Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz from the X-files responding to questions of fans, including Christopher from Secret Sun, see if you can spot his question - I did!

"I want to believe." is the title of the new movie.
I love the X-Files, but - from a worst case perspective - this poster slogan I find rather bold & ignorant. Not to use 'belief' (which divides - ok it unites too, but only those who believe the same as you - and filters) but even worse, making people 'want to believe'. (Though redeemingly in the trailer they say "there are beliefs that cannot be trusted")

A whole other level of confirmation bias:

which is the concept of filtering out info that doesn't agree with your BS (belief system) and only accepting what confirms previous assumptions. I find this slogan could be a big reason for a lot of ignorance in the UFO & alien researching community.

'Believe' nothing, explore everything!

"I've always understood money to be a medium - something created, with rules, and with biases. But most people seem to think money is real. And that's a true obstacle."

"My utopian vision of the future is people engaging with one another in real space. Literally breathing together in the same room. If media can make the world more efficient so that people get more time to be with each other, for real, then it will have done its job."

Something to think about

"I think many New Age efforts at spirituality really fail because they're so taken by the light, and so eager to hold up light and warmth in a world that can be cold and dark, that they don't honor enough the darkness, the sinking, the suffering, and the Shadow."

Daily Dedroidify: OOPArt

Daily Dedroidify: OOPArt, from the acronym for out-of-place artifact, is a term coined by American zoologist Ivan T. Sanderson for a historical, archaeological or paleontological object found in a very unusual, or even an impossible, location. The term covers a wide variety of objects. They range from material studied by mainstream science, such as the Iron pillar in India, to so-called "forbidden archaeology" that is far outside the mainstream.

Critics regard many cases of OOPArt as the result of mistaken interpretation or wishful thinking, while supporters regard OOPArt as an indication that mainstream science is overlooking huge areas of knowledge, either willfully or through ignorance. While some artifacts have indeed been proven to be mistaken interpretations, a lot are still left unexplained and ignored by mainstream science, dedroidify.com has a few articles of those OOPArts sprinkled around.

Of course if something doesn't seem very likely or probable to your expert opinion, you can safely keep ignoring these strange things - mainstream science does if it doesn't fit in with their existing scheme! ;p

Burned history, censored archeology, we don't know anything... unless we search for it. There is wonder in this world.

RAW was a futurist, novelist, scientific philosopher, libertarian and a Ph.D in psychology. He's written many great works of fiction and non-fiction. In a 2003 interview with High Times magazine, RAW described himself as a "Model Agnostic" which he says "consists of never regarding any model or map of Universe with total 100% belief or total 100% denial. Following Korzybski, I put things in probabilities, not absolutes... My only originality lies in applying this zetetic attitude outside the hardest of the hard sciences, physics, to softer sciences and then to non-sciences like politics, ideology, jury verdicts and, of course, conspiracy theory."
More simply, he claims 'not to believe anything,' since 'belief is the death of thought.' Wilson described his writing as an "attempt to break down conditioned associations—to look at the world in a new way, with many models recognized as models or maps and no one model elevated to the Truth.

"My goal is to try to get people into a state of generalized agnosticism, not agnosticism about God alone, but agnosticism about everything." - Click here to jump to more quotes and this article on Belief Systems.

"Various medical authorities swarm in and out of here predicting I have between two days and two months to live. I think they are guessing. I remain cheerful and unimpressed. I look forward without dogmatic optimism but without dread. I love you all and I deeply implore you to keep the lasagna flying. Please pardon my levity, I don't see how to take death seriously. It seems absurd."

"Whatever the Thinker thinks, the Prover will prove. And if the Thinker thinks passionately enough, the Prover will prove the thought so conclusively that you will never talk a person out of such a belief, even if it is something as remarkable as the notion that there is a gaseous vertebrate of astronomical heft ("GOD") who will spend all eternity torturing people who do not believe in his religion."

Spiral Dynamics

Great article at ThinkArete.com that explains Spiral Dynamics very simple and effectively, at the link you can also listen to the article!

Ever heard of “Spiral Dynamics”? Very cool stuff put forward by Don Beck and Chris Cowan.

Here’s the quick overview:
People and cultures go through different stages of development. The Spiral guys like to color-code them to make it easier to keep track. It goes like this:

RED. Think: Terrible twos. I’ll blow you up if you piss me off. (Yikes!)
BLUE
.
Think: Ten Commandments. Fundamentalist anything. Rules are paramount. Literal interpretations of the Bible are absolutely (God damnit!!) correct. Ahem.
ORANGE
.
Think: Wall Street. Academia. Science and ambition are key here.
GREEN
. Think: Environmentalism. Pluralism. All is one. Non-violent.

So, the idea goes that we all evolve through different stages of development. All of those stages above are part of what they call the “first tier.” Here’s the funny thing about those perspectives: they’re all convinced they’re 100% right.

It’s a big food fight.
GREEN looks at ORANGE and says, “You greedy capitalists!!! You’re good for nothing and totally destroying our planet! And, my non-violent self HATES you!”
ORANGE
looks at GREEN and says, “You tree-hugging, New Agey hippies!! Get a job and contribute to the economy, will ya?!? And quit looking at those crystals.”
BLUE looks at everyone and says, “You’re all going to hell because you don’t believe in [insert favorite God here], God damnit!!”
RED
looks at everyone and says, "I hate you!!! I’m blowing you up.”

Everything is “either, or.”
No one can see the validity of the other perspectives.
Not so good.

The idea?
Let’s consciously evolve as individuals and as a culture to a “second-tier” level of consciousness. Here, for the first time, we can hold multiple perspectives. We can see that, in the words of Ken Wilber, “No one is smart enough to be 100% wrong.” :)

What’s that look like?
Well, you can see the truth in the need to take care of our environment AND the need for a powerful economy AND the need for rules and regulations AND the need to take aggressive action when the situation demands it.

Powerful. VERY powerful.

Daily Dedroidify: Lost knowledge - The Great Library of Alexandria

Daily Dedroidify: Lost knowledge - The Great Library of Alexandria

The Royal Library of Alexandria was once the largest in the world. It is assumed to have been founded at the beginning of the 3rd century BC during the reign of Ptolemy II of Egypt and is estimated to have stored at its peak 400,000 to 700,000 parchment scrolls. Not surprisingly, the Great Library became a symbol for knowledge itself.

All that is left of many of the volumes are tantalizing titles that hint at all the history lost from the building's destruction. Few events in ancient history are as controversial as the destruction of the Library, as the historical record is both contradictory and incomplete. There is a growing consensus among historians that the Library of Alexandria likely suffered from several destructive events, notably burnings by the Romans, but that the destruction of Alexandria's pagan temples by Christians in the late 4th century was probably the most severe and final one.

Lost knowledge?
Burning of the Library of Carthage - the Romans
Burning of the Great Library of Alexandria - Romans & Christians
Burning of the Sibylline books - a combo this time of Christian (Arian) Roman General
Burning of loads of South-American culture by the Conquistadores
Thousands of Sanskrit works which disappeared in India in the reign of Emperor Akbar
...

About Carthage
It was the year 146 B.C. Phoenician Carthage was in its death throes at the end of the third, and last, Punic War with Rome. The Romans had devastated the city, and only the citadel with its temple remained to be conquered. Finally, the courage of the commanding general of Carthage faltered. He crossed the lines, fell on his knees before the Roman general, and begged vainly for his life. Just then, above them on the wall, surrounded by fires from the burning temple, appeared the wife of the Carthaginian general, their two small children in her arms. She screamed curses on her husband for his cowardice and curses on the Romans for their destruction of her city. Then, pressing her children to herself, she jumped into the fires, choosing death for them all rather than lives of slavery.
Needless to say, she won the respect of the Romans and of all those who have heard her story since. It is said that the conquering Roman general wept as Carthage burned. Laid out before him, he perceived the transience of all human constructs, and foresaw the day when his own city, Rome, would suffer a similar fate.

Jon Klimo on the Afterlife, Suicide and Channeling

Coast to Coast Art Bell interview with Jon Klimo on the afterlife, suicide and channeling research: Parapsychologist and world's leading authority on the scientific investigation of channeling, Jon Klimo discussed what happens in the afterlife to those who commit suicide.

Also check this episode: Prof. Jon Klimo spoke about his research into channeling and contact with other realms. Channeling, which includes mediumship (communicating with deceased spirits), can be with any source that is outside oneself and is not from this level of reality. A person might go into a trance state and begin speaking or writing as the entity. In other cases, people receive telepathic messages, he explained.

Klimo shared some of his personal channeling experiences in which he has gone into a mildly altered state. He first sets his intention to be of service to others, and then asks to be in contact with evolved beings, rather than lower astral entities. In one instance, while giving a lecture, he spontaneously began channeling, and a number of clairvoyants in the audience later reported they saw spirit guides & Pleiadian beings hovering over him. He also touched on his research regarding suicide and the afterlife, which he conducted with Pamela Rae Heath M.D.

Here is the first one on youtube though it's with a rather disturbing pic, a slashed arm with blood, though think 'special effects' if you really want to youtube it.

I'm very skeptical about channeling myself, that's exactly why I listened to it.
Very interesting stuff.

Rupert Sheldrake recovering from Stabbing, the Voices did it

Well this sure is an interesting story, from Reality Sandwich.

Rupert Sheldrake, best known for his theory of morphic resonance, was stabbed in the left thigh with a dagger after his talk at the April 2nd International Science and Consciousness Conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is recovering quickly with the help of surgery, prayer and healing techniques like Reiki and Healing Touch. His assailant, a Japanese man who spoke with Sheldrake earlier that week, was tackled in front of the stage and is now awaiting arraignment in the Santa Fe jail.

Sheldrake tells of his first encounter with the man at the conference:

"My attacker was Japanese, and had arrived from Japan only a few days beforehand. He had spoken to me the day before my lecture, telling me he was hearing voices. He was obviously in distress. I later learned that he had told several other people about the voices, and some had tried to help him. But no one anticipated that he would turn violent, and neither I, nor anyone else I know of, had any premonition of it. Although the report in USA Today said that he was "disturbed" by my lecture, which was on the extended mind, this was misleading; he was disturbed anyway. In any case, his English was probably too poor to understand much of what I said. The fact that I was speaking in the final session of the conference may have had more to do with it - if he was going to do something spectacular, this was his last chance. After stabbing me, he was rapidly brought to the floor by an Australian rugby player, and was held down by several men until the police led him away in handcuffs. While on the ground, he apparently said that the voices had told him to attack me. He is now in Santa Fe jail awaiting trial. I feel no anger towards him, but am pleased that he is locked away and unable to harm anyone else."

His recovery is going remarakably well and has revealed a sense of community and solidarity among supporters:

"I was carried along by a great surge of love and well-wishing, with messages pouring in from around the world conveyed to me via [my wife] Jill and via Larry and Barbara Dossey. I learned that at the conference itself, immediately after the stabbing, dozens of people formed a circle to pray for me. Other chanted in a nearby church. My family and many friends around the world were praying for me. Several of my visitors gave me various forms of healing, including Reiki, and one of the nursing staff, who was also a practitioner of Healing Touch, visited me at nights just before I went to sleep, leaving me feeling as if I were floating like a feather."

He is walking again and even doing speaking engagments due in part to everyone's prayers and positive thoughts:

"I am very grateful to all those people who have helped me here in Santa Fe, and to all those at home and around the world who have been praying for me and sending me their love and support. It has made all the difference."

Are we the Evil that we see?

The Sol Provider has an excellent blog post on tolerance.

This is just a small excerpt:
A lot of what I read here says that Masonry is evil, the Illuminati must die, the government is evil, etc. I might tend to agree with certain of these ideas at face value. It is difficult to see the world in this state and not want some form of change.

To begin to have concern for the world at large is a great thing. It is the beginning of love and the end of selfishness.

When we seek to do good for goodness sake, we are on the path to recovery. We have begun to look at one another as human souls. We have INSIGHT into people, not race, not gender, not creed, not religion, HUMANITY. We have begun to see the divine in OURSELVES and we extend this view to others.

We start to realize there is more that one life to live.

As we become more aware, we must overcome the previous conditioning. We must put away the habits and patterns that brought us into what we were before. As long as we are ruled by opposites, evil vs. good, right vs. wrong, light vs. dark, we will never achieve true spiritual growth.

We must unify these two opposing forms, which like two thieves, steal our powers and our concentration.

Everything in nature has it's opposite. In most cases the lack of a thing is it's opposite. Knowledge is the evolved state, ignorance the lack of it. Good is a quality, evil is the least degree of good. Light is an element, darkness is the lack of it.

There is a purpose for everything. The condition of this Earth as we now see it is for our betterment... If we choose to use it that way.

Our existence is a result of the need to purify our base desires. The devil cannot act for us, the devil(our base desires) only tempts. It is us that must commit the evil that we see. And we do commit it. It is our thinking that shapes all that we see. If we have ever had an evil thought, desire, or action, we now see it in the world today.

Fighting the enemy simply perpetuates all that we dislike about what we see.

I happen to think we are better than that!

From the wiki: A lucid dream, also known as a conscious dream, is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. During lucid dreams, it is possible to exert conscious control over the dream characters and environment, as well as to perform otherwise physically impossible feats. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream.

Robert Anton Wilson: Cosmic Trigger Excerpt

Preface to the Falcon Press Edition, 1986
Cosmic Trigger was originally published by And/Or Press about ten years ago, and by Pocket Books shortly thereafter. Although some of my novels have sold far better, in two dimensions at least it is my most "successful" book in human terms.

1. From the date of the first printing to the present, I have received more mail about Cosmic Trigger than about anything else I ever wrote, and most of this mail has been unusuallly intelligent and open-minded. For some reason, many readers of this book think they can write to me intimately and without fear, about subjects officially Taboo in our society. I have learned a great deal from the correspondence, and have met some wonderful new friends.

2. On lecture tours, I am always asked more questions about this book than about all my other works together.

This new edition presents an opportunity to answer the most frequent questions and to correct the most persistent misunderstandings.

It should be obvious to all intelligent readers (but curiously is not obvious to many) that my viewpoint in this book is one of agnosticism. The word "agnostic" appears explicitly in the prologue and the agnostic attitude is revealed again and again in the text, but many people still think I "believe" some of the metaphors and models employed here. I therefore want to make it even clearer than ever before that
I DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING

This remark was made, in these very words, by John Gribbin, physics editor of New Scientist magazine, in a BBC-TV debate with Malcolm Muggeridge, and it provoked incredulity on the part of most viewers. It seems to be a hangover of the medieval Catholic era that causes most people, even the educated, to think that everybody must "believe" something or other, that if one is not a theist, one must be a dogmatic atheist, and if one does not think Capitalism is perfect, one must believe fervently in Socialism, and if one does not have blind faith in X, one must alternatively have blind faith in not-X or the reverse of X.

My own opinion is that belief is the death of intelligence. As soon as one believes a doctrine of any sort, or assumes certitude, one stops thinking about that aspect of existence. The more certitude one assumes, the less there is left to think about, and a person sure of everything would never have any need to think about anything and might be considered clinically dead under current medical standards, where absence of brain activity is taken to mean that life has ended.

My attitude is identical to that of Dr. Gribbin and the majority of physicists today, and is known in physics as "the Copenhagen Interpretation," because it was formulated in Copenhagen by Dr. Niels Bohr and his co-workers c. 1926-28. The Copenhagen Interpretation is sometimes called "model agnosticism" and holds that any grid we use to organize our experience of the world is a model of the world and should not be confused with the world itself. Alfred Korzybski, the semanticist, tried to popularize this outside physics with the slogan, "The map is not the territory." Alan Watts, a talented exegete of Oriental philosophy, restated it more vividly as "The menu is not the meal."

Belief in the traditional sense, or certitude, or dogma, amounts to the grandiose delusion, "My current model" -- or grid, or map, or reality-tunnel -- "contains the whole universe and will never need to be revised." In terms of the history of science and knowledge in general, this appears absurd and arrogant to me, and I am perpetually astonished that so many people still manage to live with such a medieval attitude.

Cosmic Trigger deals with a process of deliberately induced brain change through which I put myself in the years 1962-1976. This process is called "initiation" or "vision quest" in many traditional societies and can loosely be considered some dangerous variety of self-psychotherapy in modern terminology. I do not recommend it for everybody, and I think I obtained more good results than bad ones chiefly because I had been through two varieties of ordinary psychotherapy before I started my own adventures and because I had a good background in scientific philosophy and was not inclined to "believe" any astounding Revelations too literally.

Briefly, the main thing I learned in my experiments is that "reality" is always plural and mutable.

Since most of Cosmic Trigger is devoted to explaining and illustrating this, and since I still encounter people who have read all my writings on this subject and still do not understand what I am getting at, I will try again in this new Preface to explain it ONE MORE TIME, perhaps more clearly than before.

"Reality" is a word in the English language which happens to be (a) a noun and (b) singular. Thinking in the English language (and in cognate Indo-European languages) therefore subliminally programs us to conceptualize "reality" as one block-like entity, sort of like a huge New York skyscraper, in which every part is just another "room" within the same building. This linguistic program is so pervasive that most people cannot "think" outside it at all, and when one tries to offer a different perspective they imagine one is talking gibberish.

The notion that "reality" is a noun, a solid thing like a brick or a baseball bat, derives from the evolutionary fact that our nervous systems normally organize the dance of energy into such block-like "things," probably as instant bio-survival cues. Such "things," however, dissolve back into energy dances -- processes or verbs -- when the nervous system is synergized with certain drugs or transmuted by yogic or shamanic exercises or aided by scientific instruments. In both mysticism and physics, there is general agreement that "things" are constructed by our nervous systems and that "realities" (plural) are better described as systems or bundles of energy functions.

So much for "reality" as a noun. The notion that "reality" is singular, like a hermetically sealed jar, does not jibe with current scientific findings which, in this century, suggest that "reality" may better be considered as flowing and meandering, like a river, or interacting, like a dance or evolving, like life itself.

Most philosophers have known, at least since around 500 B.C., that the world perceived by our senses is not "the real world" but a construct we create -- our own private work of art. Modern science began with Galileo's demonstration that color is not "in" objects but "in" the interaction of our senses with objects. Despite this philosophic and scientific knowledge of neurological relativity, which has been more clearly demonstrated with each major advance in instrumentation, we still, due to language, think that behind the flowing, meandering, inter-acting, evolving universe created by perception is one solid monolithic "reality" hard and crisply outlined as an iron bar.

Quantum physics has undermined that Platonic iron-bar "reality" by showing that it makes more sense scientifically to talk only of the inter-actions we actually experience (our operations in the laboratory) ; and perception psychology has undermined the Platonic "reality" by showing that assuming it exists leads to hopeless contradictions in explaining how we actually perceive that a hippopotamus is not a symphony orchestra.

The only "realities" (plural) that we actually experience and can talk meaningfully about are perceived realities, experienced realities, existential realities -- realities involving ourselves as editors -- and they are all relative to the observer, fluctuating, evolving, capable of being magnified and enriched, moving from low resolution to hi-fi, and do not fit together like the pieces of a jig-saw into one single Reality with a capital R. Rather, they cast illumination upon one another by contrast, like the paintings in a large museum, or the different symphonic styles of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and Mahler.

Alan Watts may have said it best of all: "The universe is a giant Rorschach ink-blot." Science finds one meaning in it in the 18th Century, another in the 19th, a third in the 20th; each artist finds unique meanings on other levels of abstraction; and each man and woman finds different meanings at different hours of the day, depending on the internal and external environments.

I just have to post the ending too cause it's too good:

Finally as a matter of some entertainment value, not all the mail I have received about this book has been intelligent and thoughtful. I have recieved several quite nutty and unintentionally funny poison-pen letters from two groups of dogmatists -- Fundamentalist Christians and Fundamentalist Materialists.

The Fundamentalist Christians have told me that I am a slave of Satan and should have the demons expelled with an exorcism. The Fundamentalist Materialists inform me that I am a liar, a charlatan, fraud and scoundrel. Aside from this minor difference, the letters are astoundingly similar. Both groups share in the same crusading zeal and the same total lack of humor, charity, and common human decency.

These intolerable cults have served to confirm me in my agnosticism by presenting further evidence to support my contention that when dogmas enter the brain, all intellectual activity ceases.

After all what is Time, a mere Tyranny? (+Simulacra part 2)

The Hidden Agendas Blog has salvaged a fascinating article that went missing from the news site pravda.ru, here's an excerpt:

The possibility to travel in the past is proved by Professor Nikolai Koziryov, who works in the observatory of Pulkovo (Saint - Petersburg). He found out that astronauts observe the light of one the same star from three points from the past, present and future.

Academician Albert Veinik from Minsk, Bellarus, proposed a hypothesis back in the 70s that the time has a material carrier. He called it Chronomic zone and even made a device for its accumulation.

Albert assumed that our planet also has a chronosphere, so if we learn how to manipulate it, we'll be able to make a trip to the past.

"Who controls the past controls the future.
Who controls the present controls the past."
George Orwell

The Blob put up a related post today including the video game Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

This is quite fascinating, as 1. David Wilcock has mentioned that the elite already possess time travel tech and are hereby masters at rigging elections and turning reality to their favor.

And 2. Of course, now I can't hesitate to post more excerpts from Philip K. Dick's Simulacra (spoiler alert) which is just pure genius. It also features the elite having time travel technology, similar to "The Penultimate Truth", another great book by him, in which the elite use time travel tech even to misuse archaeology.

Among many other wonderful tongue in cheeck social commentary, the matriarchal President Nicole - who is like a celeb that the citizens ignorantly worship, uses the fictional(? :p) von Lessinger Principle to get someone back from Time chosen by a general to apparently save 6 million Jewish lives in some period that might be familiar to you (I haven't finished the book but I think the State of Israel in the book pushed this), guess who they get to negociate with...

"'It's Goering,' Nicole said.
'Of course,' Star continued to smile.
'You damn fool,' she said. 'He's too smart for any of us - don't you know that? If we try do business with him-'"
And of course, there are always warnings...
"I think von Lessinger was right in his final summation: no one should go near the Third Rech. When you deal with psychotics you're drawn in; you become mentally ill yourself."
Later however a plot leaks out that some Ges (elites, fittingly I associate them with Gangsters :p, after all what is a ganster, a part of an elitist gang) that want to stop the system of having an android be supposedly elected by the people every 4 years, that becomes the husband of Nicole and gives the people another illusion and something to look forward to. lol! That's not even the full story but I won't spoil all of it.
"'And,' Pembroke pointed out eagerly, 'these eight men, these top officers at Karp (android factory), are de facto criminals; they've deliberately met and conspired against the legal government... 'May I say,' Nicole said drily, 'that all of us are de facto criminals. Because this government - as you pointed out is based on a fraud. And of the most primary magnitude.'
'But it's the legal government,' Garth said. 'Fraud or not. And the so-called "fraud" is in the best interests of the people. We're not doing it to exploit anyone - as the cartel system does. We're not out to engorge ourselves at somebody else's expense.'
At least, Nicole thought, that's what we tell ourselves."
So the book so far alludes that they will try to convince Goering to bring some of his assassins, which are normally no longer necessary and thus don't exist anymore as a near-complete control system is in place, to wipe out the conspirers and thus retain the Status Quo and stay in power.

"He had gone slightly ahead in his time, by use of his own von Lessinger equipment; he had become impatient waiting for Nicole to arrange the transfer of Goering. Here it was now; or rather, here it would be in seven more hours."

"It was easy, possessing von Lessinger equipment, to penetrate the White House despite its National Police guards... Not only was he able to observe his past and future selves - the future, at least, in terms of possibility. Of potentiality, rather than actuality. The vista spread out for his inspection of the perhaps."

"They will make a deal. Nicole and Goering; the Reichsmarschall, taken first from 1941 and then from 1944, will be shown the ruined Germany of 1945, will see the end in store for the Nazis - will see himself in the dock at Nuremberg, and, at last, will view his own suicide by a poison carried in a retal suppository. This will rather influence him, to say the least."
"Artists use lies to tell the truth. Politicians use them to cover it up." V

Maybe, maybe.

Berlusconi is back

Berlusconi:
  • corrupt as fuck
  • owner of basically the bigger half of all media in Italy
  • owner of soccer club AC Milan
  • former(?) member of infamous P2 Secret Society

  • is again prime minister of Italy lol...

Politics, it's still at the toddler level. Geez when are we gonna evolve beyond this BS.

His new party is also called the Party of Freedom, just like in Holland, it's the party restricting and disrespecting freedom the most...

In particular, it is worth reminding that among the P2 program points there were: the control of the media and Italian justice and the impairment of the Italian education system. The first point is somehow known even outside of Italy, since Berlusconi, during his government, had full control on 5 out of 6 major national channels. Berlusconi used his televisions in a way similar to the Roman emperors: he basically gave Italians “panem et circenses”, satisfying the Italian population with food and entertainment.

"If one wants to recognize effortlessly the essense of politics, let one reflect upon the fact that it was a Hitler who was able to make the world hold its breath for many years. The fact that Hitler was a political genius unmasks the nature of politics in general as no other fact can." Wilhelm Reich, The mass psychology of fascism

    The Codex Alimentarius:Nutricide

    The Codex Alimentarius:Nutricide

The Codex Alimentarius is a threat to the freedom of people to choose natural healing and alternative medicine and nutrition. Ratified by the World Health Organization, and going into Law in the United States in 2009, the threat to health freedom has never been greater.

This is the first part of a series of talks by Dr. Rima Laibow MD, available on DVD from the Natural Solutions Foundation, an non-profit organization dedicated to educating people about how to stop Codex Alimentarius from taking away our right to freely choose nutritional health.

Now they'll try to fool people that nature is unhealthy, I can't wait to see how the sheeple react to that one! Probably bleat or something.

Daily Dedroidify: The Paradox of our Age

    Daily Dedroidify: Paradox

    "We have bigger houses but smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; more knowledge, but less judgement; more experts, but more problems; more medicines, but less healthiness;

    We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbour. We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication;

We have become long on quantity, but short on quality. These are times of fast foods but slow digestion; Tall man but short character; Steep profits but shallow relationships.

It's a time when there is much in the window, but nothing in the room."
    Tenzin Gyatso

"Just look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down.
Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge,
governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information and religions destroy spirituality."
    Michael Ellner
    -
"Most men worry about their own bellies, and other people's souls,
when we all ought to be worried about our own souls, and other people's bellies."
    Rabbi Israel Salanter

"The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; we have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgment; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too seldom, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life; we've added years to life, not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; we've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice.

We write more, but learn less; we plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but lower morals; we have more food, but less appeasement; we build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; we've become long on quantity, but short on quality.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men, and short character; steep profits, and shallow relationships. These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare; more leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

These are days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw away morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer to quiet to kill.

It is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom; a time when technology has brought this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to make a difference, or to just hit “Skip Ahead”…"

    Edward Louis Bernays Quotes: Propaganda

Edward Louis Bernays (November 22, 1891 – March 9, 1995) is considered one of the fathers of the field of public relations along with Ivy Lee.

Combining the ideas of Gustave Le Bon and Wilfred Trotter on crowd psychology with the psychoanalytical ideas of his uncle, Sigmund Freud, Bernays was one of the first to attempt to manipulate public opinion using the psychology of the subconscious.

For more info check out the excellent documentary Century of the Self by Adam Curtis for the BBC.

"If we understand the mechanisms and motives of the group mind, it is now possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without their knowing it... In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons ... who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind."

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country."

"We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized."

"The American motion picture is the greatest unconscious carrier of propaganda in the world today. It is a great distributor for ideas and opinions."

"Propaganda will never die out. Intelligent men must realize that propaganda is the modern instrument by which they can fight for productive ends and help to bring order out of chaos."

"It is not necessary for the politician to be the slave of the public's group prejudices, if he can learn how to mold the mind of the voters in conformity with his own ideas of public welfare and public service. The important thing for the statesman of our age is not so much to know how to please the public, but to know how to sway the public."

"In the ethical sense, propaganda bears the same relation to education as to business or politics. It may be abused. It may be used to over-advertise an institution and to create in the public mind artificial values. There can be no absolute guarantee against its misuse."

"Our invisible governors are, in many cases, unaware of the identity of their fellow members in the inner cabinet. They govern us by their qualities of natural leadership, their ability to supply needed ideas and by their key position in the social structure. Whatever attitude one chooses to take toward this condition, it remains a fact that in almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons - a trifling fraction of our hundred and twenty million [USA 1920s] - who understand the mental processes and mental patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind, who harness old social forces and contrive new ways to bind and guide the world."

"Social progress is simply the progressive education and enlightenment of the public mind in regard to its immediate and distant social problems." (lol)

"Ours must be a leadership democracy administered by the intelligent minority who know how to regiment and guide the masses. Is this government by propaganda? Call it, if you prefer, government by education. But education, in the academic sense of the word, is not sufficient. It must be enlightened expert propaganda through the creation of circumstances, through the high-spotting of significant events, and the dramatization of important issues. The statesman of the future will thus be enabled to focus the public mind on crucial points of policy and regiment a vast, heterogeneous mass of voters to clear understanding and intelligent action."

"Because (motion) pictures are made to meet market demands, they reflect, emphasize and even exaggerate broad popular tendencies, rather than stimulate new ideas and opinions. The motion picture avails itself only of ideas and facts that are in vogue."

"Propaganda becomes vicious and reprehensive only when its authors consciously and deliberately disseminate what they know to be lies, or when they aim at effects which they know to be prejudicial to the common good."

"In theory, every citizen makes up his mind on public questions and matters of private conduct. In practice, if all men had to study for themselves the abstruse economic, political, and ethical data involved in every question, they would find it impossible to come to a conclusion about anything. We have voluntarily agreed to let an invisible government sift the data and high-spot the outstanding issues so that our field of choice shall be narrowed to practical proportions."

"The great political problem in our modern democracy is how to induce our leaders to lead.... No serious sociologist any longer believes that the voice of the people expresses any divine or specially wise and lofty idea. The voice of the people expresses the mind of the people, and that mind is made up for it by the group leaders in whom it believes and by those persons who understand the manipulation of public opinion. It is composed of inherited prejudices and symbols and clichés and verbal formulas supplied to them by the leaders."

    Symbolism, Swastikas and the Borg

"Signs and symbols control the world, not phrases and laws."
    Confucius

I guess you'll be seeing much more Symbolism posts as I'm diving in deep. I appreciate all comments as I'm just a novice.

The wiki article says that the Swastika is a symbol found back archeologically to at least the Neolithic period. Originally the meaning was lucky or auspicious object, and in particular a mark made on persons and things to denote good luck. So it's not evil just cause the Nazis used it, the Nazis may have used it just for luck :p

Ever taken a good look at the microsoft symbol? Click the pic for a bigger version, it has the swastika made clearer... It's possible be they're just using it for luck too, though it's kinda conspicuous that RFID chips have a Swastika lay-out too, perhaps it's not all harmless symbolism. Btw, one manufacturer of RFID is called Alien Technology

Check this article too about a font containing the swastika, purely by accident of course.

Below you can see an actual commercial for the Xbox360, click to see a short article with link to the commercial.

It's safe to say Microsoft is American. So here's another Nazi-US crossover I can show you right away (I'm sure there's a heap of 'em).

Oh snap, the pledge of Allegiance used to be similar to the Nazi salute. Hahaha, gotta love history, it's amazing how boring they can make it in schools. No wonder, they throw all the interesting stuff out! Just a nice little ritual with an intention to ensure allegiance indeed, for either 'country'.

From the wiki: Before World War II, the Pledge would begin with the right hand over the heart during the phrase "I pledge allegiance". The arm was then extended toward the Flag at the phrase "to the Flag", and it remained outstretched during the rest of the pledge, with the palm facing upward, as if to lift the flag. However, during World War II the outstretched arm became identified with Nazism and Fascism, and the custom was changed: today the Pledge is said from beginning to end with the right hand over the heart.

The Swastika is also known as the Double Cross (know that expression? "To fool someone").

Referenced by Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, on the April 6, 1941 edition of his radio program The Catholic Hour, who not only compared the Cross of Christ with the swastika, but also implying that siding with fascism was a "double-crossing" of Christianity.

However the Bishop is not informed enough (who is, really :p), as he seems to have forgotten Christianity itself uses a Double Cross as a Symbol. Teehee. It's also a Templar and hence Masonic Symbol

Here are two Swastikas in a Synagoge, why not! Click the link for the location of these.

Founded in the 1970s, the Raëlian Movement, a small cult believing in the possibility of immortality by scientific progress and extraterrestrial life, used a symbol that was the source of considerable controversy: an interlaced Star of David and swastika. In 1991, the symbol was changed to remove the swastika and deflect public criticism (lol). The symbol was restored to its original form in 2007 (loll'er). The group is non-theistic, secular, hedonistic, and supports human cloning. It also has the New Age message down.

Why I find this small cult interesting and disturbing is that there is one theory of the illuminati as follows. There are two groups, the Mages and the Technocrats (the elite). The Technocrats believe they can become immortal through science and technology and enslave humanity through it. This is why Microchips for in the body, nanotech and cloning should be kept a close eye on. Notice the 4 squares on the left Borg Chest which could be loosely interpreted as a Microsoft logo and thus a Swastika.

Here is an excerpt, from a letter from a supposed Illuminati (wait till you read the end of it). The letter which I uploaded for you, is kinda contrived and humiliating as it's supposedly written by something supposedly higher up the food chain. (Don't be too intimidated, notice how many fuck-ups it mentions by them :p) Whoever wrote it - wether completely true, truth mixed with lies as usual or completely false - probably had a ball writing it. Though it definitely is an interesting read. Here it talks about the Technocrats:

"Also Illuminati but lesser in their vision for humanity, though they would not agree. They are often referred to as the Technocracy, and they have a huge, unsuspecting, human following. It seems they are content to use their creations only on the material level, and to fulfill a new dimensional level in the form of immortality through technology, and science resulting in abolishing death of the conduit called the human body.

This approach is not in the best interest of humanity for this will create a prison, and perpetual energy sources for their (the Technocrat's) needs and disregarding the needs of the essences which animates the human brain. Without the needed addition of molecular structure change directly related to DNA as well as quintessential exchange banks based in the vibration capabilities of the physical cellular structure evolution will be halted and humanity connections will be severed from the whole. Or, in other words humanity must reach a level of essential autonomy so as to manifest all its maintenance needed in the physical state without depleting its source which would be a planet in your species case and has been named Earth... "

I can't help but share this short excerpt too cause it's too funny:
"Granted the ego structure of your kind has from the beginning been some what of a disappointment. Its purpose has almost become obsolete over the past 2 decades which in turn has created a restlessness and unusual need to engage in pointless activities that have in no way a positive effect upon your future."
