Be. Don't try to Become. Being is Enlightenment, Becoming is Ignorance.

"All the Buddhas of all the ages have been telling you a very simple fact:

Be - don't try to become. Within these two words, be and becoming, your whole life is contained. Being is enlightenment, becoming is ignorance."

  6. What then is being?
    What then is becoming?
Ignorance is foolishness; void of knowledge. What is enlightening but the revelation of truth? And knowledge of truth, ‘to become’ is ‘to advance’ and ‘to be’ is ‘to exist’, by extension, ‘to live’, furthermore, ‘to live consciously, aware of existence’, so to live consciously in a state of advancement is the goal of man; to a . He who does not know god seeks this but it eludes him.
