I agree with what Woody says here, but it's somewhat hard to take his critique of money and its evils seriously, in that he probably never has to worry about money again for the rest of his life. It's easy to sit under a tree and dream about the way things used to / should be when you are rich beyond most people's dreams.
So someone who has money can't criticize the system founded on money? That's kinda silly. He probably knows just as well as I do that money doesn't make happy, but only makes life comfortable. People can be completely miserable and rich. People can also be completely active and rich. Woody has as much right as anyone to criticize it in my opinion.
