Give to the War PSA

Sarah Silverman: Give to the War PSA

Author unknown

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out to others is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas, your dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken,
because the greatest hazard in life is to do nothing.

The person who risks nothing,
does nothing, has nothing, and is nothing.

They may avoid suffering and sorrow,
but they cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, live.

Chained by their attitudes, they are a slave,
they forfeited their freedom.

Only the person who risks can be free

Not so tough now

Not so tough now

Four Security guards stop a fan who runs out onto the field... Fair enough... But then the cowards rough him up after he's already been taken down. Very intelligent in a stadium... full of Soccer fans. Then what happens is exactly what SHOULD happen every time in a situation like this... The people say FUCK THAT and storm the field. Yes, the first hero jumping at the four cowards is a Soccer player who was in the match (and undoubtedly risked suspension if not a ban from competition - don't know which country this was in). I'm sure they'll remember it for the rest of their life. Anyway, take notes Riot Police Robots because this is what happens when the people unite against injustice.
