Dedroidify is Dead (for a while)

I need to spend my time more productively in finding a mindnumbing desk job since "following your bliss" seems to be more than a little overrated, so I have no idea when I'll start posting again (maybe later this month). Thanks to all 3 people who tried to help out. The NLP training therapy offer still stands (website coming). Over and out, droids.

ps: Thanks a lot to Ian for the donation! It's a great help. Check out his awesome blog Reclusland.

Wow man, that sucks, but I totally understand where your coming from. Your bliss may turn out to be in hobby form at first...then it may get the chance to grow and expand.

I hate mind numbing jobs.

Be well!

So take a break for a week and search. Dedroidify is not dead... it has only begun.

Wow, kinda surprised.
After months of dedroidifying process I was very used to your inspirational posts.
Anyways I wish you the best on your new path that, in a way or another, will be still on bliss.

All the best!

Try 'Teaching English as a 2nd language' - You'll probably have to take a TEFL exam, but its very easy.
Most of my 'classes' are going to offices and talking to people once a week [ in Prague]. I often discuss how they want to say something rather than just follow accepted grammar.
Very easy to travel with the job. bound to be many who need English in Bruxelles.
U could develop teaching methods via NLP.
Meet many people, I been teaching one guy for 7 years .
Anyhow blah blah blah.
maybe u can keep up with the 'dictionary'

Let's hope so Michael.

That's exactly what's going on Ezra.

Wagner, I announced financial troubles weeks ago and added the donate button to the blog along with the NLP offer, but all my visitors are either broke or enlightened (lol). Screw bliss! It doesn't pay the rent.

Thanks for the suggestions aferrismoon.

In a completely Yang situation to yours, I’ve been trying desperately to leave my mind numbing desk job in pursuit of just a little bliss with a means to pay my bills.

However I became delusional about a decade ago and allowed myself to be swept into a corporation's BS system. This served me well for 10 years. Only now the whole thing has collapsed and I'm stuck under a pile of debt and responsibility that requires me to slave away most of my day just to stay near the green. All the businesses in my field are failing and I’ve become too “specialized” to switch to another corporation with comparable pay. So please keep my situation in mind when seeking employment.

Beware of corporations that require too much commitment. Based on my experience of taking the course is considering. I genuinely believe a form of self employment is the only way for people like us to go these days. Do your best not to loose site of all the wisdom expressed in Dedroidify. You have done a great service to many. I wish you the best and hope that you will be able to continue your good work, even if in a reduced capacity!

Your friend,

Thanks CK.

Geez don't worry E., I never was a good slave robot and never will be, and I'm not giving up on creating or finding a job that doesn't suck the life out of me.

Thats good to hear. Just want to keep anyone from making my mistake. I am not really a good robot slave either. I just feel like one since it now takes 5x the work for me to pay for the houses & cars I bought when the money came easy. But I am working back toward self reliance.

All the best to you!

"As civilization has advanced, the pack-bond (the tribe, the extended family) has been broken. This is the root of the widely diagnosed "anomie" or "alienation" or "existential anguish" about which so many social critics have written so eloquently.
What has happened is that the conditioning of the bio-survival bond to the gene-pool has been replaced by a conditioning of bio-survival drives to hook onto the peculiar tickets which we call "money"."

Im happy to be part of your readers, including the anonymous ones.

Since my connection to internet, following my credit card, is about to be blocked for lack of payment I think I´ll not be able to apreciate and even read again your colaborations. Maybe the reader and publisher pauses keeps on synchronizing...

Hopefully the ones I indicated to check your promising NLP therapy will be able to show you more apreciation.

Personally, I understand bliss as a potencialy recognizable and integrated part of oneself, not an aim, as much as surviving.

Surely you reflected a lot on all this and, maybe, you´re much beyond now. What, anyway, doesnt change my personal reality tunnel.

So, I renew my votes of a blissful path to you.
I'm very thankful.

"When the archer shoots for no particular prize, he has all his skills; when he shoots to win a brass buckle, he is already nervous; when he shoots for a gold prize, he goes blind, sees two targets, and is out of his mind. His skill has not changed, but the prize divides him. He cares! He thinks more of winning than of shooting, and the need to win drains him of power".

D, May you help Dedriodify many other heads out there in the cubicle drone space - they need it, but they don't know it yet. Thank you for collecting and creating excellent material over the past year. Yo man you have helped me feel less alone in this fight for consciousness, and that is better than any paper-fiat currency any global banking monolith could ever produce. You've been doling out the mental currency like crazy for so long, can't thank you enough. So go do what you gotta do, come back someday and unleash your thoughts back into our minds again. Good fortune is with you already holmes... see you on the flip.

I can relate to your dilemma as well bro.

All the best to your search and know that you have many, many (albeit broke, lol) fans that cherish what you've done here.

Peace, and success in whatever you find.

Easily my favorite blog. I don't think you can leave. I don't think you will leave. You have created a huge FAMILY of readers. It is a little like Art Bell created a huge family of listeners. R.DeRopp,my favorite author, suggested that the Prosperos (businessmen) and the Calaban (artists) lived in 2 different worlds and they had little to no understanding of the other world. You are an artist. I assume you have contemplated monitization ideas related to different web related ideas you have had. Your family of followers has huge intellectual powers. Why don't you give thought to creating a social network or a group. Perhaps your network, with special powers and under your leadership, could generatesomething productive.
