Secrets of the Occult pt-02 The Scientists

This is excellent. Secrets of the Occult explores the world of the occult from the ancient and modern magicians who practice it to the cutting edge scientists attempting to explain its mysterious claims. This program highlights the advances that have been achieved by innovators who challenged established reality like Newton, Galileo, Freud, Jung, Einstein and many more.

Serj Tankian - The Unthinking Majority

We don't need your democracy.
Execute them kindly for me.
Take them by their filthy nostrils
Put them up in doggy hostels.

We don't need your hypocrisy
Execute real democracy.
Post-industrial society
The unthinking majority

Anti-depressants
Controlling tools of your system
Making life more tolerable

Way Things Are Magazine

I wanna give a big thanks to Way Things Are Magazine, "philosophy for the rest of us" - which is a great website about philosophy, science, spirituality and religion - for writing this wonderful description of my website dedroidify.com, Here it is:
Believe Nothing! Explore Everything!
Or so this author declares. Dedroidify.com is a fascinating website devoted to deconstructing belief-systems and religion in favor of an open-minded approach to understanding the universe. There are a series of articles, videos and a system of quotes diving into philosophical history and theory. The object is to increase awareness about belief systems and learn without boundaries about spirituality and mysticism.

Ultimately, this author encourages us to explore and not believe. Be active, not passive.

Doesn't religion have its purpose in our spiritual lives? Isn't the guidance of spiritual leaders vital to our social chemistry? Is there value in religion? Take a look at this site and decide for yourself.

The Killers-Bling(Confessions Of A King)

The Killers-Bling(Confessions Of A King)

Confessions of a king indeed, those are some interesting lyrics. Could only find a live version but it's a good one. Here is the songmeanings link, it's amazing how many possible interpretations of a song there are, apparently the singer said in a magazine that the song was about his hard working father. Just highlighted a few things in the lyrics, which can lead to loads of interesting possible thought streams. I take it into a secret society conspiracy reality tunnel ;p Though don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is thé hidden agenda for entrainment in the song. There's coincidence (if you believe in such a thing ;p I still include it in my catmas, to keep more or less sane :p) and synchronicity to consider as well, I love to interpret reality as this huge meta-narrative.

When I offer you survival,
You say it's hard enough to live,
It's not so bad, it's not so bad
How do you know that you're right?

I awoke on the roadside,
In the land of the free ride,
And I can't pull it any longer,
The sun is beating down my neck

So I ran with the devil
Left a trail of excuses,
Like a stone on the water,
The elements decide my fate,
Watch it go... (bling)

When I offer you survival,
You say it's hard enough to live,
Don't tell me that it's over. Stand up!
Poor and tired but
More than this.

How do you know that you're right?
If you're not nervous anymore, (saying to his masters)
It's not so bad, it's not so bad... (trying to convince himself)

I feel my vision slipping in and out of focus,
But I'm pushing on for that horizon (horus),
I'm pushing on,
Now I've got that blowing wind against my face

So you sling rocks at the rip tide,
Am I wrong or am I right?
I hit the bottom with a "huh!"
Quite strange,
I get my glory in the desert rain,
Watch it go...
(I offer you survival!)

[chorus]

Higher and higher,
We're gonna take it,
Down to the wire,
We're gonna make it,
Out of the fire,
Higher and higher

Higher and higher,
We're gonna take it,
Down to the wire,
We're gonna make it,
Out of the fire,
Higher and higher

Higher and higher,
We're gonna take it,
Down to the wire,
We're gonna make it out,
Whoa-oh-oh Higher and higher...

It ain't hard to hold,
When it shines like gold,
You'll remember me.
(Money & Fame,
in exchange for a soul? ;p)

The Ankh. Playing with symbols like that made me think of this olympic 2012 logo post. Ideas are toys, looking at information as only true or false is boring :p

Obama outlines policy of endless war (Got some spare Change?)

Got some spare Change?

“The greatest threat to that security lies in the tribal regions of Pakistan, where terrorists train and insurgents strike into Afghanistan,” he warned. “We cannot tolerate a terrorist sanctuary, and as president, I won’t. We need a stronger and sustained partnership between Afghanistan, Pakistan and NATO to secure the border, to take out terrorist camps and to crack down on cross-border insurgents. We need more troops, more helicopters, more satellites, more Predator drones in the Afghan border region. And we must make it clear that if Pakistan cannot or will not act, we will take out high-level terrorist targets like bin Laden if we have them in our sights.”
Barack Mohammed Hussein Obama

“As president, I will make the fight against Al Qaeda and the Taliban the top priority that it should be. This is a war that we have to win.”
Barack Mohammed Hussein Obama

As you probably found out, the mind sees words as a whole, this can also be used as good motivation to learn speed reading (in which you read entire words, groupings of words, and later entire lines), which I recommend in this age of (dis)information. It saves a lot of time. Now that we know this, let's move on...

NWO is an interesting abbreviation, the mind will try to find meaning (pattern in chaos) and come up with the following subliminal connections or meanings (or anagrams): NOW, OWN, WON...
And some wordplay: New World Order. New WORD order, New World Odor, Eww World Order, Few World Order, Jew World Order, etc. (just naming what's out there, not mine :p)

update: Great comment from James Ratte, I have to include it:
yes, i've seen this before.

imagine how powerful words are, our minds must be running all sorts of analysis constantly.
from the symbol to the letter, to the syllable, to words, to sentences, ideas, concepts. We operate on so many levels at once.

Daily Conspiracy: 1984

1984: Reality imitates art - Or how a warning by George Orwell got ignored by a distracted and dumbed down population

Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984) is a satirical political novel written by George Orwell, it introduced the concepts of the ever-present, all-seeing Big Brother. The story takes place in a nightmarish dystopia where the omnipresent State enforces perfect conformity among members of a totalitarian Party through indoctrination, propaganda, fear, and ruthless punishment.

~ Sounds familiar ~
  • Legalizing torture in 2006
  • False Flag ops by Western Governments blamed as terrorist attacks by Muslims.
  • Supposed anti-terrorism laws in violation of human rights are being signed worldwide.
  • You can be found through your cellphone, payments, your ip adress, even your printed paper...
  • The NSA is wiretapping civilians in the land of the free! Feel safer now there's a PEACE activist database?!
  • Throughout the world cameras are in the streets, shopping malls, stores, even below water in swimming pools now.
  • The mainstream media is so unreliable nowadays loads of people started monitoring-websites to try to unspin the political bias.
  • In the USA plans for Civilian Inmate Labor Camps can be found on the official military site, the prisoners here would be supposed terrorists and "fifth column civilians" supposedly disloyal Americans who 'sympathize & collaborate' with the enemy (the terrorists of Al Qaeda, the CIA creature & Phantom Menace). For example conspiracy theorists like Christopher Bollyn.
  • Some countries merely use drivers licenses as identification, others like Belgium already have electronic passports you can run through a machine, Britain's Labour party has just passed legislation for ID cards with chip-and-pin technology and including biometric data like fingerprints. In other countries like Spain and the USA testruns with microchip implants have been reported...

"Usually, terrible things that are done with the excuse that progress requires them
are not really progress at all, but just terrible things."
    Russell Baker

    1984
"The time is 13 o'clock; the date doesn't matter; the year goes without saying. Winston Smith, a bureaucrat at the Ministry of Truth, toils day and night in the service of Big Brother, the remote, faux-benign ruler of this eerily familiar dystopia. Orwell's novel is a study of every possible way a nation can be beaten down by its government: spiritually, physically, intellectually, by the media, torture, surveillance, and censorship, to the point where the state can manipulate reality at will. When Smith is tempted by a beautiful resistance fighter into an act of rebellion, 1984 becomes something more: a strange, tragic, deeply sad love story. It is Orwell's triumph, and the century's misfortune, that 1984 is as prescient as it is pessimistic."
    Lev Grossman

    1984 Summary:
In a grim city and a terrifying country, where Big Brother is always Watching You and the Thought Police can practically read your mind,
Winston is a man in grave danger for the simple reason that his memory still functions. He knows the Party's official image of the world is a fluid fiction.
He knows the Party controls the people by feeding them lies and narrowing their imaginations through a process of bewilderment and brutalization that alienates each individual from his fellows and deprives him of every liberating human pursuit from reasoned inquiry to sexual passion.
Drawn into a forbidden love affair, Winston finds the courage to join a secret revolutionary organization called The Brotherhood, dedicated to the destruction of the Party. Together with his beloved Julia, he hazards his life in a deadly match against the powers that be.

"Propaganda is to a democracy what the bludgeon is to a totalitarian state."
    Noam Chomsky

"I don't mind being accused of being an 'escapist.' On a planet that increasingly resembles one huge Maximum Security prison, the only intelligent choice is to plan a jail break."

Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal

Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal

I had a nice li'l music video sync moment just now, first Klaxons and Gravity's Rainbow (come with me, come with me, we'll travel to infinity), then this great vid, followed by the Last Shadow Puppets, that band name always makes me smile ;p. This Fleet Foxes vid that starts out with "I was following the I (eye :p)", features the sun, a stargate or two in the rotating background and turning wheel, and some growing mushrooms (third eye)!

I was following the [I (eye)]
    I was following the pack
    all swallowed in their coats
with scarves of red tied ’round their throats
    to keep their little heads
    from fallin’ in the snow
And I turned ’round and there you go
    And, Michael, you would fall
and turn the white snow red as strawberries
    in the summertime
