Charles Manson Interview with Charlie Rose part 1 & the rest
A great interview with a fascinating character. This interview I can, sort of, understand his B.S. and where he comes from. His belief and value systems got shaped in prison and on the street, and he really tries hard to make clear how different his reality tunnel is from the interviewer. And also how the image of him was partly manufactured (in a different interview more so than here). He makes a lot of fascinating remarks and social comments between some of the madness, and the ending is just gold. Many gems in there.
manson: Everything is love, there's nothing that isn't love, even the confusion is love in one form or another, it's misguided. Love is a word to supplement for God, or I would rather use the word intelligence, if you're goning to use the word love, use the word intelligence, because love is misunderstood in so many different ways and fashions.
rose: do you need to be loved?
manson: loved... I am loved, I am love
rose: by whom? are you loved?
manson: I am love
rose: are you loved?
manson: all the way and around the world with it, didn't you see it? 215 times taking it in the fire with it man
rose: meaning what
manson: me? meaning I'm taking up all the slack for you assholes. I'm carrying you around Nixon. I still got you... Reagan, hey Ronny! ... I'm intertwined in your very soul man.
Batman Forever Trailer
from the trailer:
"Riddle me this, riddle me that, who's afraid of the big black bat?" Jim Carrey
"In an uncertain world, in a chaotic time, justice wears a mask." (narrated)
Ah yes, "Just-ice" wears a mask indeed, our so called protectors are not exactly forthcoming with the truth, Batman (justice) resonates Bush (mask), the NeoCons and the Illuminati (behind the mask) - he's the symbol of fear and 'justice'. Check out this Batman = Dracula post for an update, another author has written about Batman symbolizing bush, two authors by the first name of Andrew.
This movie resonates Dark Knight because of this 'chaotic' theme and the two Joker-like terrorist villains. We'll see another sync later.
I told myself I wasn't gonna hate on Joel Schumacher *screams with hand over mouth* ... cause if he didn't RUIN those two Batman movies, we maybe wouldn't have had the kickass Nolan saga. But this is a real shitty movie, and Batman and Robin is even worse.
I couldn't stand the Riddler and Two Face, Val Kilmer seemed to be inspired by Steven Seagal in expression (check out the deleted scene with Robin, lol), the dialogue was awful, the camera angles make you drunk, and at the end of the movie Joel Schumacher is like a painter throwing buckets at a wall pretending he's creating something. But, I did watch it again, to find more in the unending well of Heath Ledger-Dark Knight of the Soul syncs.
Nicole Kidman is Meridian Chase (Chasing the Chi Meridians, or Lay Lines) and early on talks about multiple personality disorders, gots to haves mind control themes in the movies.
About Two Face she says to Batman...
Dr. Chase Meridian: He'll slaughter them without thinking twice.
Batman: Agreed. A trauma powerful enough to create an alternate personality leaves the victim...
Dr. Chase Meridian: - in a world where normal rules of right and wrong no longer apply. (Remember Dark Knight - A world without rules poster)
Later she also says: "A girl can't live by psychosis alone."
move to Two Face: "One man is born a hero, his brother a coward. Babies starve, politicians grow fat. Holy men are martyred, and junkies grow legion. Why? Why, why, why, why, why? Luck! Blind, stupid, simple, doo-dah, clueless luck! "
Two Face (Tommy Lee Jones) rambles about his chance reality tunnel being the only justice to his victim, after being 'disappointed' as a D.A. and that scarring thing. RAW writes in his books that neophobic people will be dogmatic even when shifting belief systems, something we can see among many people who have claimed to have 'woken up.'
In the tenth minute, syncing up with Jake and Steve's latest vid, Tired (third) eyes? And Two Face's helicopter chariot flies through the stargate eye.
Edward Nigma (E-nigma) tries to persuade Bruce Wayne with his new invention:
"What's on all our minds, brainwaves, the future of wayne enterprises is brainwaves! My invention beams any tv signal directly into the human brain, by stimulating neurons, manipulating brainwaves if you will, this device makes the audience think they're inside the show."
Bruce: "Did you say manipulating brainwaves?" the Bat Signal comes on, another symbol 'manipulating brainwaves' ;p
Nigma: "Look at us, two of a kind... I need an answer now, I think I deserve it."
Bruce: "I'm sorry Edward, the answer is no. Tampering with brainwaves, mind manipulation, it just raises too many questions."
Nigma wimpers: "You were supposed to understand, (bs detection, assumptions and expectations cannot be mistaken for reality), I'll make you understand!"
Edward nigma, is working late at night, "Too many questions, I'll show you it works!"
His Wayne corp supervisor Fred Stickley catches him and threatens him with calling security,
"Bruce Wayne was right! You demented, bizarre, unethical toad! It is mind manipulation! You are going up on charges, and then to prison, and then to a mental institution for the rest of your twisted little life! But first and foremost, Nygma, you are fired! Do you hear me? FIRED! "
Nigma hits him over the head with a coffee pot, "Caffeine will kill ya!"
The Riddler is born: "Riddle me this fred, what is everything to someone, and nothing to everyone else, your mind baby!"
And again Bruce Wayne creates his own enemy, or the Illuminati or Neo-Cons create a threat.
We see security footage of Stickley running through a stargate symbol window in a faked security tape by Nigma.
Bruce Wayne receives his first riddle: "if you look at the nrs on my face you won't find 13 any place" 1-12, the answer is a clock. "who sent you this?" aha "that is the riddle"
Bruce: You have a thing for bats?
Chase follows his gaze.
Chase: That's a rorschach, Mr. Wayne. People see what they want to.
Bruce looks back up. In fact, just an ink blot. Only he saw a bat within it's bleeding lines.
Chase: I think the question would be, do you have a thing for bats?
Bruce: So, this Riddler, he's dangerous? (subtle change :p)
Chase: What do you know about obsession?
Bruce: Not much.
Chase: Obsession is born of fear. Recall a moment of great terror in your life. Say you associate that moment with... a bat. The bat's image becomes a cancer of the mind, grows more real
than your daily life. Can you imagine something like that?
Bruce: It's a stretch but I'll manage.
Chase: The letter writer is obsessed with you. His only escape may be...
Bruce: To kill me.
Chase: You understand obsession better than you let on.
At the circus scene where we meet Dick Grayson (Son of the Grays! or Robin - Aubrey De Gray is a leading scientist in cloning and DNA research, so if we're not careful we might all be GraySons one day, see this Red Ice docu about him and much more, the Two-Face archetype appears in it too), we see a drum with eye & stargate symbolism, same for the circus floor. There's some twin imagery circus lines behind Robin, along with the two drummers, earlier in the movie we saw twin statues before Wayne Manor. Two face disturbs the circus show: if we can direct attention to the middle of the center ring, to the "harmless looking orb" a bomb.
"What the hell do you want Harvey" asks the mayor, to still have some resemblance of a link to Billy Dee Williams character in the first '89 movie ;p the current mayor looks more like him than Tommy Lee Jones hehe. Considering Val Kilmer is portraying Batman instead of Keaton, I guess it works.
"Harvey I'm Batman!!!" yells Bruce lol, but of course nobody can hear him, apparently not even the people around or next to him :p
The bomb gets lifted, again from the angle we see the bomb inside the middle ring of the concentric circles in more stargate symbolism. And more stargates as Two Face climbs through a sewage hole thingy, the bomb falls into the water(door - stargate) and we have an explosion (of consciousness).
later... Riddler: For if knowledge is power, then a GOD AM *I*! (The Riddler resonates another branch of the Illuminati, who may have a God complex :p) ... Was that over the top? I can never tell. (Yes mofo, you've been over the top the whole movie :p)
"This is your brain on the box. This is my brain on the box. Does anybody else feel like a fried egg? "
"The Box, in every home in America, and one day, the world." The Riddler gets his brainwave TV box in American homes, and it leaves people brainfried.
"Soon my little "Box" will be on countless TVs around the world. Feeding me, credit card numbers, bank codes, sexual fantasies, and little white lies. Into my head they'll go. Victory is inevitable. "
The machine sucks up their energy, a metaphor for misdirecting our energy away from creativity to consumerism, or feeding our heads with archetypes and symbols that further anyone's causes but our own, and our entertainment tech like cellphones and computers to be used to distract and track us, keep databases. Knowledge is power... (you authority guys have fun processing all that stuff :p).
Another riddle for Wayne, with a little numerology of his own.
Bruce Wayne: "We're 5 little items of an everyday sort. You'll find us all in a tennis court". In... A-E-I-O-U. Vowels.
Alfred Pennyworth: Not entirely unclever, sir, but what do a clock, a match, chess pawns, and vowels have in common? What do these riddles mean?
Bruce Wayne: Every riddle has a number in the question and they arrived at this order: 13, 1, 8, and 5.
Alfred Pennyworth: 13, 1, 8, and 5. What do they mean?
Bruce Wayne: Perhaps letters of the alphabet?
Alfred Pennyworth: Of course, 13 is M.
Bruce Wayne: 1 would be A, 8 would be H, and 5 would be E.
Alfred Pennyworth: M-A-H-E.
Bruce Wayne: Perhaps 1 and 8 are 18.
Alfred Pennyworth: 18 is R. M-R-E.
Bruce Wayne: How about Mr. E.?
Alfred Pennyworth: Mystery.
Bruce Wayne: And another name for mystery?
Alfred Pennyworth: Enigma.
Bruce Wayne: Mr. E. Nygma. Edward Nygma. Stickley's suicide was obviously a computer-generated forgery.
Alfred Pennyworth: You really are quite bright, despite what people say. (lol, for that? ;p He should see what the synchromystic superheroes are capable of ;p)
A last hilarious thing I wanna remark is when the Riddler stops Two Face from killing Batman
"Don't kill him! If you kill him, he won't learn nothin'!"
Like I said in the beginning, Schumacher ends the movie in complete chaos, there were lots of colours and the good guys won.
