Dean Radin: The Convergence of Science and "Spirituality"

Dean Radin: The Convergence of Science and "Spirituality"

This quote comes to mind:
"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, design a building, conn a ship, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve an equation, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."

Ok, this sounds pretty much like one of those conversations you have with your friends late at night when you've been drinking a lot, or smoking something...'cos like yeah everything IS connected, just like everything is connected by gravity...

Sometimes on a late party night it does seem like the universe opens like that...On a night like that your friend would turn to you and say "yeah that's right, except if we were in space or something and then we'd all be connected by zero-gravity". There'd be a pause then, " WOW" you'd say. "that's beeyoodiful"....and you'd drink and smoke some more and keep staring into space. Sheer POETRY!

However, given that Dean Radin was presumably not drinking or smoking banned substances on that podcast I struggle to find an excuse for him, but then he's not my friend and I'm not inclined to be charitable. As a result, I'm taking a hardline Darwinian stance on this one- As a teeny weeny bald man with a big nose and glasses, the only chance he has of perpetuating his genes is by claiming insight into the mystic powers of the universe. It's the sole way of getting even with the harsh hand of fate. Plus everyone knows woo-girls are easy. ;)

bs dection: "he's not my friend and I'm not inclined to be charitable" & "I'm taking a hardline Darwinian stance on this one"

"harsh hand of fate" & "insight into the mystic powers of the universe."

what if the mystic power(s) of the universe IS the harsh hand of fate for which so many "darwinian survivors" - the attractive, the powerful, the strong aka the fucking conceited & ignorant :p - aren't ready...
but the outcasted & ugly but consciousness and reality exploring people are. Wouldn't that be some divine justice? :p Oh some reality tunnels can hear the music already.

Of course this is all just speculation... :p

where are all the woo-girls in my town anyway? :p
