It finally happened, the sham political system collapses in the novel, and is obviously a metaphor for our western system of democrazy.

By that I mean there will be no further der Altes (android replacement president) and no more so-called "Nicole," (first lady getting replaced by an actress when too old, people are too stupid to notice) and no more division into Ge and Be. Because we'll all be Ges, now." anyone else think of the bee gees here? :p
