You can say anthing you want on television, so long as it is in even tones, and the interviewer accepts the extrordinary statement as fact and doesn't make a big deal about it. Heck, I've seen the head of the CDC admit vaccines cause autism and the reporter moved right along like it was nothing.

Not making a big deal out of it probably also works better to keep the viewer from "noticing" it? I love the "what" at the end of the short clip though heh, too bad the longer clip then shows her just moving along.
All I can say is wow.
