This came up on my feed and was honestly something that I was expecting to turn off after a few minutes but I found it really interesting so I'm sharing it!

Lon Milo DuQuette on Occult of Personality
I listened to a great interview about the book Low Magick: It's all in your head you just have no idea how big your head is, you can find the podcast here (number 36, episode 95).
46:20 20/12/2010
In podcast episode 95, internationally renowned magician, author, and teacher Lon Milo DuQuette returns to the show on the occasion of the publication of his book Low Magick: It's All in Your Head ... You Just Have No Idea How Big Your Head Is. - Lon tells us about Low Magick - both his book an dthe subject more generally, which in times past was referred to as thaumaturgy. Essentially the follow-up to his popular autobiography, My Life with the Spirits, Lon uses entertaining personal anecdotes in this book to explain the philosophy and the basic principles of Solomonic magick.
"That's why low magic, Solomonic magick, has garnered a bad and dangerous reputation ... It's serious stuff. Because any kind of change or improvement in your life is going to be a challenge."

Monsanto protest - in Belgium, 80 people got fined for it
Here are pictures of the worldwide protests against Monsanto, in backwards Belgium, 80 people got fined by this new fascist bullshit fine they invented, a GAS fine, which is a fine sanctioned by the city and they can go from 50 to 250 euros. No trial, no nothing, just pay up and shut up. Nice use of language btw, calling it a "fine".

Daniel Pinchbeck interviews Joe Rogan
This is pre-2012 but great to see these 2 interesting guys together.
I'm reading Daniel Pinchbeck's Breaking open the head and am amazed for some reason that's it's so well written. I mean it's spectacularly good.

Timothy Leary Interviewed In Folsom Prison 1973
4 months of solitary confinement, followed by prison. The coward authorities thought they could break the man, instead while incarcerated he remained lighthearted, performed consciousness experiments and wrote, before escaping ;) Endless love for the man.
"The best philosophers end up in prison."
In case you're not aware of the details:
On January 21, 1970, Leary received a ten-year sentence for [possession of two marijuana roaches], with a further ten added later while in custody, for a previous [marijuana possession] arrest in 1965, twenty years in total to be served consecutively. When Leary arrived in prison, he was given psychological tests that were used to assign inmates to appropriate work details. Having designed some of the tests himself (including the “Leary Interpersonal Behavior Test”), Leary answered them in such a way that he seemed to be a very conforming, conventional person with a great interest in forestry and gardening. As a result, Leary was assigned to work as a gardener in a lower security prison, and in September 1970 he escaped. Leary claimed his non-violent escape was a humorous prank, and left a challenging note for the authorities to find after he was gone. For a fee, paid by The Brotherhood of Eternal Love, the Weathermen smuggled Leary and his wife, Rosemary Woodruff Leary, out of the United States and into Algeria. More here.

The best worst Father John Misty interview
This is probably the worst interview I've ever seen, with the worst waste of a random person taken off the street, how he managed to get through it with such style is beyond me lol.

I met the Walrus
In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan snuck into
John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced him to do an
interview. 38 years later, Levitan, director Josh Raskin and
illustrators James Braithwaite and Alex Kurina have collaborated to
create an animated short film using the original interview recording as
the soundtrack. A spellbinding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit and
timeless message, I Met the Walrus was nominated for the 2008 Academy
Award for Animated Short and won the 2009 Emmy for 'New Approaches'
(making it the first film to win an Emmy on behalf of the internet).

Joe Rogan's AMA
Joe Rogan started an AMA recently on reddit, some highlights so far:
I try to not believe anything. "Try" is the key word, because my mind bounces back and forth occasionally with decisions and judgment, but my honest intentions are always to remain as open as possible.
What's the easiest way for your average person to expand their consciousness?
JoeRoganExperience
I don't think it's ever easy. It requires focus, experience, reflection - none of those are really easy. The key seems to be getting on a path of intent. Wanting to expand your consciousness is one of the most important aspects of actually doing it.
I've met a lot of people that have done massive amounts of mushrooms but they remain idiots.
