Matthew Good - Lullaby for the New World Order & Weapon

I've a favor to ask, maybe this is a bad time
You know whenever you ask there's never a good time
How do you take your heart out of it?
How can you take your heart out of this?
And how do you stop once you've started?

Somebody gave you a choice
And all you do is abuse it
If God he gave you a voice
Then use it

Here's something to ask if these are the bad times
Because whenever you ask why it's never the good times
How will we get ourselves out of it?
How can you take your heart out of this?
And how do you stop once you've started?

Somebody gave you a choice
And all you do is abuse it
If God he gave you a voice
Then use it
Just a lullaby for the new world order

Here by my side, an angel
Here by my side, the devil
Never turn your back on me
Never turn your back on me, again
Here by my side, it's heaven

Here by my side, you are destruction
Here by my side, a new colour to paint the world
Never turn your back on it
Never turn your back on it, again
Here by my side, it's heaven

Careful, be careful
Careful, be careful
This is where the world drops off
Where the world drops off
Careful, be careful
You breathe in and you breathe out
For it ain't so weird
How it makes you a weapon
And you give in
And you give out
For it ain't so weird
How it makes you a weapon
Never turn your back on it
Never turn your back on it again

Careful, be careful

Here by my side, it's heaven

OWS Teach-In with Douglas Rushkoff

My name is Douglas Rushkoff
I am humbled and honored to be amplified by your voices.

You are not fighting against people, but against a machine.
It was put in place over 500 years ago.
By a wealthy elite - trying to repress a booming peer to peer economy.
Those people are all dead, but their program lives on.

They invented an operating system called central currency.
People who used to trade directly,
were now forced to borrow money from the king's bank.
At interest.

The elite also invented software for that operating system.
It was called the chartered monopoly. Today we call it the corporation.

It is a program designed to extract value.
It has legal monopoly over its industries.
We are legally prohibited from creating and exchanging value
unless we do it through the corporation.
We cannot work unless we have a "job."

We outsource our work, we outsource our savings, we outsource our borrowing, we outsource our investing - all instead of sourcing one another.

This 13th Century, printing-press era operating system
is incompatible with a 21st Century economy.
It is broken and dying. But it is still occupying our reality.

Too many are mistaking this operating system - for the way things are.
They see the Occupy Movement as the impediment.
We are not asking for wealth to be redistributed.
We are asking for the redistribution to STOP.

The Long Extraction is Over.

The peer to peer society is back.
We are ready to create and exchange value as people.

They say that the Occupy Movement has no leadership.
They are wrong.
You are the leaders

The rest of us are your followers.
What you do here - shows what we can do out there.

You are the classroom - we are the students.
You are the experiment - we are the results.
You are the proposition - we are the resolution.

If you can sleep under tarps
the rest of us can tell your story to our children at bedtime

If you can resist the cops.
The rest of us can resist the market and the mall

If you can live on shared food
The rest of us can buy and grow local crops

If you can live with no money
The rest of us can start using alternative currencies

If you can stand firm in the streets
The rest of us can stand firm in our foreclosed homes
and stand with our neighbors in theirs.

If you can occupy Zucotti Park
The rest of us can occupy reality.

And by that same logic:
As the nights get colder,
as the Mayor grows less tolerant,
or as the police get more violent,

Remember that you have already won.

Whatever happens in this square,
the day you leave is not the day you have lost
it is not the day you have surrendered.

It is the day you have spread out.
It is the day you have declared a bigger battlefield.Link
It is the day you teachers and we students become the same.

It is the day we Occupy the World.

F for Fake

So check out this amazing song's music video starring this apparently very confident young woman who seems to have been the victim of a horrible botox explosion... Seriously don't see the need for those hideous artificial lips, but maybe her management made her do it... They gave her her stage name in any case... Cause Elizabeth or Lizzy Grant sounds so mundane right...

Look in contrast at this second video at how insecure the girl is, and how she reacts to the question of her background. Wikipedia says she's the daughter of a "domain investor" so it's just not very interesting I guess. I'm just so shocked about the fakeness I had to post about this, why does the Record Industry insist on putting out Fake stuff out there, fake lips, attitude and name. I'd be even more smitten for this artist if she didn't have those scary ass lips. Her songs are beautiful, I just really hope she can ditch her retarded management and get the confidence she portrays in that first video, well maybe not that much. Ok silly rant over.

The Sunset Limited - Yin Yang

B: Belief aint like unbelief. If you're a believer and you finally got to come to the well of belief itself, then you aint got to look no further. There aint no further. But the unbeliever's got a problem. He's set out to unravel the world. For everything he can point to that aint true, he leaves two things laying there.

B: I ain't a doubter, but I am a questioner.
W: What's the difference?
B: A questioner wants the truth. A doubter wants to be told there ain't no such thing.

W: Do you really believe everything that's in there... the Bible?
B: The literal truth? Probably not, but then you already know I'm an outlaw. Probably the notion of original sin... you know, when Eve ate the apple, turned everybody bad. I don't see people that way. I think for the most part people was good to begin with. I think evil is something you bring on your own self, mostly from wanting things you ain't supposed to have.

W: I long for Darkness. I pray for death, real death. And if I thought that in death I would meet the people I knew in life, I don't know what I would do. That would be the ultimate horror, the ultimate nightmare. If I thought I was gonna meet my mother again an' start all of that over, only this time without the prospect of death to look forward to... that would be the final nightmare. Goddamn Kafka on wheels.

W: I don't believe in God. Can you understand that? Look around you, man. Can't you see? The clamour and din of those in torment has to be the sound most pleasing to his ear.

B: This book is a guide for the ignorant and the sick at heart. A whole man wouldn't need it at all. And if you was to read this book, you're gonna find there's more talk in here about the wrong way than there is the right way.

W: The Bible is full of cautionary tales...all of literature, for that matter... telling us to be careful. Careful of what? Taking the wrong turn, the wrong path. How many wrong paths are there? Their number is legion. How many right paths? Just one. Hence the imbalance that you spoke of.

W: Even God gives up at some point. There's no ministry in hell that I ever heard of.
B: No, there ain't. And that's well put. Ministry is for the living. That's why you're responsible
for your brother. Once he quit breathing you can't help him no more. He's in the hands of other parties. So you got to look after him now. You might even want to monitor his train schedule.

W: I gather it to be your belief that culture tends to contribute to human misery, that the more one knows, the unhappier one is likely to be.
B: As in the case of certain parties known to us.
W: It's the first thing in that book there... the Garden of Eden. Knowledge as destructive to the spirit, destructive to goodness.
B: I thought you ain't read that book.
W: Everyone knows that story. It's probably the most famous story in there.
B: Hmm, why you think that is?
W: I suppose from the God's point of view all knowledge is vanity. Or maybe it just gives people the unhealthy illusion that they can outwit 'the devil'.

W: The darker picture is always the correct one. When you read the history of the world you are reading a saga of bloodshed and greed and folly the import of which is impossible to ignore. And yet we imagine that the future will somehow be different. I've no idea why we are even still here. In all probability we won't be here much longer.
B: Them's some pretty powerful words, professor. That's what's in your heart though, ain't it?
W: Yes.
B: All right, well, I can relate to them thoughts.
W: You can?
B: Sure I can.
W: That surprises me.
B: But you could be wrong, you know.

B: The light is all around you but you don't see nothing but shadow. And you're the one causing it. It's you. You're the shadow. That's the point.
W: Well, I don't have your faith. Why don't we just leave it at that?
B: You ain't never thought about just starting over?
W: I did at one time. I don't anymore.
B: Well, maybe faith is just a case of not having nothing else left.
W: Well, I do have something else.
B: Well, why don't you just keep that in reserve? Just take a shot at starting over. I don't mean starting again. Everybody's done that. Over means over. Just walk away. I mean, if everything you are and everything you have and everything you done has brought you at last to the bottom of a whisky bottle or bought you a one-way ticket on the Sunset Limited, you can't give me one good reason on God's green earth for salvaging none of it, 'cause there ain't none. If you can bring yourself to close the door on all of that, it will be cold and it will be lonely and there will be a fierce wind blowing. But you don't say nothing. You just turn your collar up and keep walking.
W: I can't. I can't.

W: Banish the fear of death from men's hearts... They wouldn't live a day. Who would want this nightmare but for fear of the next?

Black asks a question at the end of the movie to God and the answer to me seems obvious, he may not have found the words, but despite everything he has the spirit and that's wonderful. He's proven he's saved himself.

George Carlin on Acid with Chris Rock

"...and I finally, boom, that clicked in, from the acid, thank god for acid."

"that's why they put it on that list of bad drugs, cause they know it opens up the mind. It can be dangerous, I ain't saying it's not dangerous, someway, you take too much, take the wrong kind..."

"I don't need it anymore cause it's a self-limiting drug, it's the kind of drug that you take it a few times, and it tells you: "that's enough, we're cool, now we're happening," and that's what happened to me."

Never been so ashamed to be human

The greek evening news was recently interrupted by people in V for Vendetta masks with a sign saying "stop watching, go outside and protest"

What a couple of months it has been...

Cutbacks in countries around the world, set society back half a century so they can give the money to the banks, the same banks that got billions of aid from governments just recently.

Riot police are beating protestors anywhere with an unbelievable brutality, do these fucking complacent idiots not realize the protestors are protesting for their precious future as well? Fucking worthless servants of their 'masters'.

The Belgian political parties have finally reached some agreement on how to form a government, small detail, the party that won the election is not involved in the talks... :) They have reached agreements over how to split an infamous voting district (I don't know anybody who gives a fuck about this district), and more importantly the new finances, all these agreements will of course be worth completely nothing when the shit hits the fan and the economy completely breaks down. How will you balance a budget with no money?

In Norway a right wing extremist and self proclaimed Templar Knight almost wiped out an entire island filled with, mostly white, youths. The police - who don't carry guns - took over an hour to fucking reach it while citizens were evacuating kids with boats... Eye witness reports of a second gunman were dismissed.

Chavs in Britain destroyed the Peaceful Protesting Wave across the world, looting small business owners just as much as big shops and setting houses of innocent people on fire. Kids were robbed of their fucking clothes by their fellow youths. Good job chavs, way to stick it to the man. Oh most of them were put on billboards, found and fined, awesome, how does that help the small business owners who got ruined? I fail to see...

The Arabian spring in the Middle East is freeing lots of people from dictatorships so it can be replaced by a pseudo-representative democracy as we have in the west, which is nearly as much a dictatorship. What are the Middle Eastern populations doing? Fleeing their countries and overwhelming the west, the Italian island of Lampedusa has 40.000 refugees alone. In Belgium recently refugees were put on the streets after they filled a train station with their trash and excrement, what is a government to do with all these refugees?

The International community has helped Libia free itself from Kadhafi, Syria however, where journalists are not allowed in, protestors are still being shot daily since march... and where people were killed at fucking funerals for god's sake, is not getting that help.

The plans for a European Government were recently dismissed, however what do we hear in the news in Europe everyday? New laws and regulations that have to be met because of Europe... It's already here ffs. One of these wonderful laws: cycling paths should be flawless across Europe! You know, shit that matters.

Smoking bans in pubs seem ridiculous, but they have a great benefit, the people gather less to talk about how they're being fucked in the ass by governments. The big majority of pubs is of course losing tons of money.

The American Shadow Government celebrated it's 10 year anniversary of their most succesful operation in history, 9/11. Of course there were documentaries about conspiracy theories, the ridiculous ones like the Holographic theory... No word in any of the 9/11 programs that there were "terrorist drills" going on the same day coincidentally... or any of the other facts that would make a retard realize that a few Arabs were not solely responsible for the tragedy. They say molten Aluminium is responsible for the collapse of the towers, really? In freefall? Well it convinced my buddies who were happy to accept the explanation, that's how easy it is. How about Building 7, of which its collapse was reported early by the BBC and other news outlets by "accident", aluminium too? How about the missing wreckage of the plane in Pennsylvania, or the "missile" (quoting Rumsfeld and the 9/11 commision chairman) oops I mean plane, that hit the (section under renovation at the) Pentagon? You know what is the biggest indicator to me that something is wrong with the official version? Every corporate and state owned news outlet demonizing any report of the facts that point to the official version being complete bullshit, that kind of sets off some red flags for me... If the US wants to take a few Middle Eastern countries, no one can say no to that apparently, same as when China took Tibet and the world went "... ok".

Half of Americans find it normal that people are being wiretapped without a judge involved. Whenever "Half of Americans" or any populations is mentioned I usually dread what follows...

In South Africa a news reporter got fired for losing it and speaking some truth lol:

And the US showed its true colors again by using its Veto against Palestine's request for independance, they said "you should go to the bully with their tanks and missiles, and ask them nicely, oh and leave your stones at home."

And I think to myself... what a wonderful world...

Archangels: Auriel (Uriel)

More from William G. Gray's Inner Traditions of Magic

Great intro :) Kate Bush - Lily (click link for more info on the song)

Oh thou, who givest sustenance to the universe
From whom all things proceed
To whom all things return
Unveil to us the face of the true spiritual sun
Hidden by a disc of golden light
That we may know the truth
And do our whole duty
As we journey to thy sacred feet

Well I said
"Lily, Oh Lily I don't feel safe
I feel that life has blown a great big hole
Through me"
And she said
"Child, you must protect yourself
You can protect yourself
I'll show you how with fire"

Gabriel before me
Raphael behind me
Michael to my right
Uriel on my left side
In the circle of fire
(Gabriel & Uriel are switched from their normal positions in the song)

I said
"Lily, Oh Lily I'm so afraid
I fear I am walking in the Veil of Darkness"
And she said
"Child, take what I say
With a pinch of salt
And protect yourself with fire"

Gabriel before me
Raphael behind me
Michael to my right
Uriel on my left side
In the circle of fire

Light of God. Unless properly understood, might seem rather a dark Angel indeed.
An Angel of Light. He is the Light shining in Darkness, that the Darkness did not understand and could not extinguish.
Consciousness in Unconsciousness, Knowledge in Ignorance, Being in Unbeing.
The Light of Experience and Wisdom.
Typifies the Seed of Light that manifests in us.
Tolerance, wisdom, development that should come with sheer experience of life and death until a soul grows enough to take such matters in its spiritual stride and seek better forms of being.
He rightly belongs to Earth because when we live on Earth as we should in Heaven, our object as humans will be attained, and both Heaven and Earth will 'pass away'. An unlikely event in our predictable future, but attainable in individual instances. Humanity will never achieve 'salvation' en masse, but only in single file through the narrow Gates leading to Light. Correct Pillar passage in any Temple should be for one person only.
The Magic Mirror of Auriel reflects us to ourselves, showing up our mistakes, and picturing whatever we could learn.
His Shield is supposed to protect us from adversity by cushioning our consciousness against shocks and blows, or sparing us from knowing what would hurt us needlessly because we had no means of dealing with it. Auriel is a kind Angel, who attempts to enlighten the Children of Light, but sees no advantage in allowing them to suffer senselessly. It is he that tries to stop us making the same mistakes over and over again. Altogether, Auriel is the Light of Law and Learning, without which we shall never grow up in Spirit.

Symbol: Shield and Mirror, Book of Wisdom
Element: Earth.
Sephirah: Malkuth
Circuit: 1
Visualised: Kindly Elder with greying black hair and beard, dark eyes, and a deep deliberate voice.
Colours: Blacks, dark browns, greys, though lightened by the sparkle of frost and the shining of stars in brilliant moonlight.
Girdle: Black, relieved with silver.

Archangels: Gabriel

Lamb - Gabriel

According to William G Gray's book Inner Traditions of Magic we need to know some symbolic knowledge of the four Archangels if we want to play with some Ritual Magick, so I'm helping out a bit by sharing some of Gray's information and some random extra tidbits.

Fertility figure. Lord of resurrection who triumphs over death by the potency of love.
He personifies compassion and feeling, tenderness and strength combined.
Typifies our great need of loving and being loved, desire of conviviality, our deepest necessicity for true spiritaul sustenance, without which we might as well not live at all.
Concern is with the kinder side of humanity.
Represented as mature being connected with our more peaceful pursuits, consolidation of gains, enjoyment of existence.
He directs our attention to the moral as distinct from the intellectual side of the mysteries.
Presides of the companionship that should prevail in every circle.
Pervasive angel, cooling hot-headedness, soothing irritations, generally dissolving most difficulties capable of solution by such means.
Tears of gabriel wash away the sorrows of our world, because they are tears of sympathetic and understanding love.
Provides confidence to face death in no particularly brave or heroic manner, but quietly and normally as part of our Eternal Existence.
Gabriel convinces us that love is immortal, and as products of it, so are we.
However many times our flesh bodies die and are dissolved in the ocean of life, our souls will be safe in Gabriel's keeping while they continue along the unseen edge of the cosmic circle to re-emerge into material manifestation again until we are sufficiently developed as individuals to exist otherwise.
The cup of Gabriel is also the cauldron of regeneration.

West. Sunset-autumn position.
Symbol: Cup or Horn (with all its significance)
Element: Water
Sephirah: Yesod
Circuit: 2
Visualised with: chestnut hair, amber eyes, a friendly and sympathetic voice
Colours: reds, russet-yellows, similar hues
Girdle: red (they apparently all have their own special brand of Wrestling belt!)

He first appears in the Book of Daniel, delivering explanations of Daniel's visions. In the Gospel of Luke Gabriel foretold the births of both John the Baptist and of Jesus. Christians of the Catholic traditions refer to him as Gabriel the Archangel.

In Islam, Gabriel was the medium through whom God revealed the Qur'an to Muhammad, and that he sent a message to most prophets, if not all, revealing their obligations. He is called the chief of the four favoured angels and the spirit of truth. He is called the created Holy Spirit (Islam) that spoke to Muhammad,[1][2] which is not to be confused with the Holy Spirit of God in Christianity who is revered as God Himself. Gabriel is also mentioned in Bahá'í Faith texts, specifically in Bahá'u'lláh's mystical work Seven Valleys.

He is the patron saint of telecommunications, postal workers and diplomats.

In English-speaking culture, the image of Gabriel as the angel that shall blow the trumpet blast that initiates the end of time and the general resurrection at the Last Judgment, which has no source in the Hebrew Bible or the New Testament,[10] is a familiar trope. (It may be taken from Norse Heimdall who according to legends, will sound the Gjallarhorn, alerting the Æsir to the onset of Ragnarök where the world ends and is reborn.) It may also be taken from Mother Shipton's Prophecies "For storms will rage and oceans roar, when Gabriel stands on sea and shore, and as he blows his wondrous horn, old worlds die and new be born."

The Sword-Bridge

Inevitably there comes a point upon the Inner Path where further advancement seems quite impossible and all past efforts an utter waste of time. Everything has become a dead end and a dead loss... Whatever degree we undergo, a corresponding change will take place in us, perhaps for better, sometimes for worse, but always for a distinct difference in consciousness as a result.

Chasms of Consciousness

What in fact has happened, is that we come to the point where nothing but some marked alteration of awareness will provide us with opportunities for making progress along that particular Path. It is as if while walking along a road, we came to a river and had to proceed by boat, swimming, building a bridge, or flying across. The Path would be the same, but the means of keeping to it quite changed. This happens when we come to spiritual 'standstill points' where we must either be prepared to change our methods of consciousness and get past the apparent barrier, or wander forlornly around the same circles again, looking for some other outlet. All outlets from those circles would actually present the same problem in various ways.
When we come to these 'Chasms of Consciousness in spiritual Dimensions, the first decision must naturally be wether or not to attempt a crossing, and the second issue is the nature of the transition. The Great Abyss for instance is crossed by the Sword-Bridge, to symbolize the necessity for physical death, the passage of the soul being represented by the Line of Light along the edge of the Sword. Liberated from flesh by the point of the Sword, the soul flies Lightward by way of the Lightline towards the hilt, where it comes safely to the Hand of God which wields the Weapon. The principles of this aplpy to all chasm-crossing. We must be prepared to 'die', or part from our existing formalization of ideas which bind us to materialized beliefs, so that we may follow the path of pure power straight to its spiritual source beyond the confines of consciousness from which we would emerge into fresh fields of illumination.
Unless we are ready to sacrifice the 'body' of our ideas on the Point of the Sword, and send their 'soul' Inwards to Light, we shall cross no chasms to gain new life among the splendours of resurrection. In other words, when we come to an Inner Space our working consciousness cannot span, we must sacrifice whatever fixed formulations (or bodies) we hold our ideas in, while projecting their 'souls' or principles Inwardly towards the Light of Truth for rebirth in another form (or body) which is suitable for life in conditions pertaining to the other side of the chasm.
In some ways we do this all the time. For example if we follow an idea so far in words that it will go no further with much gain of meaning, then we might cross a chasm with it, and sacrificing the 'word body' resurrect the idea in a 'music body', a 'sculpture body', or perhaps a 'mathematical body'. We have retained the 'soul' of the same idea all along the line, but re-incarnated it in various forms to express it in different dimensions or conditions of conscious existence. The same principle applies to ourselves throughout our differing incarnations as materialized mortals. We get from one life to another across the Depths of Death, much as we follow a Lightline over any other Abyss.

Crossing the Abyss

In the spiritual dimensions of existence where Initiates of the Mysteries may be classed as inhabitants, very considerable alterations of consciousness indeed may be required between one side of an Abyss and another. So marked a change in fact, that it might almost amount to a reversal of polarity or entire revolution of nature. This is not unlike the phenomenon of what was called 'conversion', or the acceptance of quite different values, by what could be termed a 'standing jump' usually precipitated by some impacting event. One might perhaps be justified in thinking of this as being kicked or shot over a chasm. Such a drastic change, however, is not 'instant evolution'. We may become different beings from an expressional standpoint, but we do not become immediately better or more highly evolved souls just because we have crossed chasms into other conditions of consciousness. Man does not reach Godhood with even his wildest leap. The Lightning-Flash symbol from top to bottom of the Tree shows the instantaneous contact of Divinity with Humanity, but the spirally winding Serpent clearly indicates the upward Path of an evolving human soul. The down-pointing Sword symbolizes our means of bridging the gaps between our differing states of awareness by voluntarily sacrificing one formation of consciousness for another via the Line of Inner Light.

From 'William G Gray - Inner Traditions of Magic'

Whenever you are faced with a challenge, try the following. With deep relaxed breathing (as always) see a dark deep chasm preventing you from going on, the chasm is the size of your issue and across is steady ground. Then visualise a big majestic Sword or wizard-like Staff, representing your current spiritual progress. If the Sword/Staff is big enough to act as a draw bridge, let it fall in place and become the bridge, and you cross the chasm and overcome your challenge.
I'm using this now for when I'm about to lose my temper or patience with something and it has worked out amazingly so far, during the afternoon of the first day I was starting to do this, my best friend who I had fallen out with for a few months contacted me and we are buddies again for which I'm truly grateful beyond words!

Icelandic Magical Staves

Icelandic magical staves are symbols credited with magical effect preserved in various grimoires dating from the 17th century and later. According to the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft, the effects credited to most of the staves were very relevant to the average Icelanders of the time, who were mostly subsistence farmers and had to deal with harsh climatic conditions.

Apparently, there are more than 30 million slaves in the world today, more than at any other point in human history.

Pretty shocking.

And add a few billion more slaves if you count Economic Slavery.

May be RAW

From Okami's photo stream, some other good ones there too :p

Coldplay - Hurts like Heaven

(may or may not have been stolen from some other artist knowing Coldplay :P)

Written in graffiti on a bridge in a park
'Do you ever get the feeling that you're missing the mark?'
It's so cold, it's so cold
It's so cold, it's so cold

Written up in marker on a factory sign
'I struggle with the feeling that my life isn't mine'
It's so cold, it's so cold
It's so cold, it's so cold

See the arrow that they shot, trying to tear us apart
Fire from my belly and the beat from my heart
Still I won't let go
Still I won't let go

Oh you, use your heart as a weapon
And it hurts like heaven

Streets and bars and a pavement of saints
And at the streets are rising and you'd rather sing
'Don't let them take control
No, we won't let them take control'

Yes, I feel a little bit nervous,
Yes, I feel nervous and I cannot relax,
I'm coming 'round to get us
I'm coming 'round when they don't know the facts

So on concrete canvas and a glow in the dark
Concrete canvas, I will make you a mark
Armed with the spray can soul
I am down with the spray can soul

Yes, you
You use your heart as a weapon
And it hurts like heaven

George Carlin on Motivation

and an extra quote:
"Motivation is bullshit, if you ask me this country could use a little less motivation. The people who are motivated are the ones who are causing all the trouble! Stock swindlers, serial killers, child molesters, Christian conservatives? These people are highly motivated, highly motivated. I think motivation is overrated, you show me some lazy prick whose lying around all day watching game shows and stroking his penis and I'll show you someone who's not causing any fucking trouble ok?"
George Carlin

lol just realized how badly timed this post is considering the next post is about rioting for revolution :P

I predict more Riots

Riots in Greece are still on, a branch of the Ministry of Finance has been set on fire, and a fire bomb tragically killed 3 people in a bank. Earlier police killed a 15 year old boy which has only fueled the riots more. The stars are not aligned for governments pulling stupid shit if you're looking at the news worldwide. I hope governments keep trying to pull stupid shit though and the revolutions keep cascading so the rich Powers That Be (going down) have no choice but to start backing down and owning up for their own fuck-ups instead of making the lower classes pay for them, again.

Austerity was chosen word of the year in 2010 by Merriam-Webster Dictionary. The top ten was completed by pragmatic - moratorium - socialism - bigot - doppelganger - shellacking - ebullient - dissident - furtive. Sounds like a spell to me? :p The top 10 of 2011 should be fascinating...

"Poverty is the biggest brutality."

Cause everybody in the hood has had it up to here,
It's getting harder and harder and harder each and every year.

Some kids went in a store with their mother,
I saw her when she came out she was gettin some pampers.

They said it was for the black man,
they said it was for the mexican,
and not for the white man.

But if you look at the streets it wasn't about Rodney King
It's about this fucked up situation and these fucked up police.
It's about coming up and staying on top
and screamin' 187 on a mother fuckin' cop.
It's not written on the paper it's on the wall.
National guard??!
Smoke from all around!

Oldschool Dutch hip hop I listened to in the nineties that formed a cornerstone of my early real education, they rapped about music, the system, speaking from the heart, love, and much later 9/11, ancient astronauts and much more. Check out the first two crazy flowing songs, even if you don't speak dutch you can recognize how good this hip hop is.

Zo Simpel - De Goeie in het Vloeie - Mic Check - Godvoordomme/Waarom altijd Waarom/Echte Liefde - Sleur - Onkwetsbaarheid is Eenzaamheid - Harder dan te Hard - Hulp met Eigen Gevaar - (Weer) Geen Clubhit - Biobakmuziek - Bietbijters en ouwe koekhappers - Vragen aan Bush - Geen Spijt - Hardcore Blijft - Hoofdschakelaar - Verwoorde Verwarring - Gewone Boerenlul - Prostitutie - Def P: Annunaki

I tried translating the lyrics and including some in the post but the magic gets lost in translation a bit, so if you really want to use google translate for the lyrics or learn dutch or something ;)

Alex Jones is getting so desperate

Alex Jones claims the ruling elite is taking DMT and the machine elves are an evil influence, lmao. This youtube audio clip is so retarded I can't even embed it, the man obviously has no clue what DMT is about, clearly hasn't read Strassman's work and is just ranting like a crazy man again. Even using PKD in his stupid rant. Terence Mckenna is laughing so hard at this somewhere. I honestly don't know what drives professional liars and how much they believe their own B.S., and I don't want to know either. So sad. He should take some DMT and experience his ego death, what an explosion that would be lol.

Importance of Inner Understanding

Let no one imagine that if they were duly pushed through all the Rites of the Mysteries, and met every Master available who told them every secret there was, and whatever teaching they demanded, all this incredible experience would make one iota of difference to their fundamental being by itself. In any case, the genuine Mysteries do not work in such a fashion. Real 'Teaching' comes to and through the individual Initiate himself, via his Inner contacts with sources of spiritual enlightenment.
This true teaching and learning cannot come through books, lectures, or ordinary verbal instructions. These may inform, but they do not teach. Information collects in a mind, but teachings changes an entire soul because it is imparted by Spirit. An informed person is not necessarily a truly instructed one. In 'occult' circles, it is not uncommon to encounter those with books and equipment valued at perhaps thousands of pounds, yet with no real Inner Understanding. Possibly in the same room may be a much more advanced soul with no literary possessions to speak of, or any great intellectual achievements, who, by direct contact with Inner Wisdom has acquired truths beyond the power of death to take away.
This is why it is considered 'un-Wise' in the Mysteries to rely overmuch on written matter and accumulations of what has been lightly termed 'Occult haberdashery'. We lose all our physical properties at death, and our mental stock-cupboard soon becomes exhausted or valueless as we change our nature. Only the Inner Realities of Spirit substationally remain with our souls, and those are to be obtained by our accomplishments in their particular force-fields.
At one time, a few of the stricter Schools forbade Initiates to write of any spiritual subject, or even to read about them. This was not for the sake of mere secrecy itself, but to compel the Initiate to seek Truth Inardly rather than from externals. They were allowed to communicate their traditions orally within a Circle of their own Companions only. This was to ensure that the Spirit of Wisdom which comes to those who 'gather in the Name', did so under the most favourable conditions for its reception.
One of the commonest questions asked in all sincerity by Neophytes is: 'What shall I read to help me on my Path?' Very few would accept the truth that only fractional representations of spiritual Verities can be made in human words, and they would be better employed seeking these within themselves than looking for them in other people's findings and opinions.
Nothing except sheer experience of life will get the notion out of their heads that the more they stuff themselves with second-hand arcana the more Initiated they will be. They might as well try to appease hunger by reading an account of a banquet on a menu card, or dress themselves from the illustrations in a catalogue. All that books can do is supply information on methods. They do not, and never have supplied the means.
The craving for sheer information is natural enough to modern Westerners however, though it should be guided into useful channels where possible. Recommending books is always a difficult matter on account of individual needs, but on the whole probably the best idea is to suggest reading that encourages the seeker to look for Light Inwardly, and proposes methods of approaching this spiritually vital problem. Whatsoever deals directly with these topics, and inspires a reader to do, be, and become a more perfectly evolved soul, is worth recommendation. The rest is intellectual entertainment, worth while for mental decoration and display, but scarcely likely to result in betterment of actual being.
This should not signify that intellectual achievements are to be despised or belittled, but they must be placed in proper perspective when seen by the Light of Illumination. They are means and not ends in themselves. If they are sought as useful means to assist the spiritual development of a conscious entity, then they have values in the eyes of Inner Awareness. If on the other hand, they are acquired purely for personal gratification and advantage, then they are worth no more than exactly that. By themselves they will not lead us along the Line of Light towards Divinity, but only to a simulated state of self-importance. Therefore they should not be sought for their own sake, but for a higher use they might serve.
Once more it is a case of seeking the Kingdom first, and then making necessary additions afterwards. If we face facts honestly, we shall find most individuals are drawn towards the Mysteries by the hope and desire of having new and thrilling experiences of consciousness or gaining superior powers over others. To put matters crudely, they are looking for kicks. The genuine Mysteries have a good way of dealing with such approaches - they offer neither thrills nor unfair advantages over anyone. No wonderful visions, exalted experiences, incredible personal powers, sensational successes with sex and finance. Nothing in fact, except hard spiritual effort with no particular reward except in its own achievement. Faced with such a disappointing prospect, sensation seekers soon abandon the purlies of the Holy Mysteries and look elsewhere for excitement. Who shall blame them?

[Adult Swim] Music Video: Bump, Flying Lotus Zodiac Shit

Refused - The Refused Party Program & The Apollo Programme Was A Hoax

In the wake of our existence, in our parades and in our dances;
touch, see and behold the wisdom of the party program.
Essential in our lifetime and irresistible in our touch,
the great spirits proclaim that capitalism is indeed organized crime
and we are all the victims.
This next one is called Refused Party Program.

This is the pulse, this is the sound
This is the beat of a new generation

This is the movement, this is the rhythm
This is the noise of revolution
Yeah! Yeah! Arrrrh!

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Refused party program
Refused party program
Refused party program
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Petrol bombs and barricades
Anything to have our say.
Consequence of no choice at all
Empires rise and empires fall.
Now its time to flip some coins.
And it's time to turn some tables.
Cause if we have the vision I know that we are able.
Suck on my words for a while, choke in the truth of a million dead.
There is no prestige in your title, we are after your head.
The destruction of everything is the beginning of something new.
Your new world is on fire and soon you'll be too.
Sabotage will set us free.
Throw a rock in the machine.

And of course, New Noise:

Ex Nihil Omnis Est

Belief and Faith is an absolute pre-requisite in all matters connected with the Mysteries. We are definitely and clearly told to 'Believe first'. For those who say: "I cannot believe in anything", the rather odd counsel is to believe firmly and positively in NOTHING as an Absolute, and out of This will eventually emerge Everything. Ex Nihil Omnis Est.

A useful formula in connection with Faith is the well-known "Ohms Law"

Amount = Pressure / Resistance

This shows in the simplest ways the relative factors concerned. The obtain a given amount of faith we must either increase pressure, decrease resistance, or both. It might appear that resistance should be removed altogether, but this would be highly unwise. A proportion of resistance is strictly necessary in order to maintain balance. We are all too familiar with what happens in the case of those who believe unrestrictedly and indiscriminately in anything. Fanaticism, insanity, and all kinds of stupidities arise from blind credulity and unreasoning enthusiasms coming from usually sincere but quite unjustified faith. Belief must always be qualified by discrimination in order to obtain good results. Another way of expressing the formula is

I will / I won't = I might

In other words what might happen is the outcome of Will over Won't.

So while Faith is a vital necessity, it must be effectively controlled with Wisdom if it is to be a practical proposition in working the Mysteries well. The position may be crudely but soundly summed up in the ale-house adage: "In God we trust - All others, cash!" We can only afford unreserved, complete and unresisting Faith in the Supreme Spirit Itself.

In Mystery practice, Initiates are taught to use belief with discrimination. This means specification of faith in order to direct energies along appropriate paths. The principle is to use a formulary such as: "I believe all Energy is One, but for such and such a purpose the Divine Aspect of So and So operates through this type of Archangel, that sort of Angel, and this particular kind of Spirit." Then an attitude of faith is adpoted towards these beings as intermediaries of Divine Energy on their respective levels of Consciousness, and an individual Adaptation made to them by means of whatever prayer or practice the Initiate may be capable of. Blind belief is not encouraged in the Mysteries of Light except in the Origin of Light, Life, and Love from whence all Energy emanates.
No intelligent Initiate believes that Angels or Spirits of any species are winged people in nightgowns flitting around Inner Space. However their Telesmic Images are shaped as Symbols, they themselves are Active Agencies of Awareness, or catigorical concentrations of Divine Consciousness, each existing for some particular purpose in the Plan of Perfection.

What's going on!

Woooooo, first of all big thanks to Keith B!

I'm finally living at my new place since a few days, still crazy busy with installing & organizing the place etc. I'm really enjoying it here, it's a totally different lay-out than my last appartement and living room so feels very new, and it's a real cozy place with a nice terrace in the back. Great neighborhood too, very open and green compared to the big city row-house street I'm coming from, and close to the beach and dunes (SANDWORMS!). Posting won't be returning back to normal right away but I'm working on getting there asap!

Alienpunk and yours truly also went to see Sublime with Rome and it was great fun, we were in two traffic jams cause of accidents and were on the road for six hours getting there but made it just in time, the opener band Jaya the Cat had just finished when we arrived and we had just enough time to get ourselves a drink and get a good spot! Cause of the fun we were having catching up etc we barely even noticed we were on the road this long, it was the GPS that showed us cause we noticed we took an hour to drive five kilometers to an exit :P Great concert & road trippy, awesome vibes and everybody shaked and sang along to the old songs. Thanks again for the fun Alienpunkdizzle!

Here is a huge post with lots of links to live performances including most if not all from the Effenaar gig by Alienpunk.
