Vallis Gradalis: Into the Valley of the Grail — My New Personal Blog

I’ve started a new blog, Vallis Gradalis, where I’ll share more personal and deeper reflections from my unfolding pathwalking journey. I’ll continue posting on Dedroidify as well, but Vallis Gradalis will carry the more personal and intimate side of the work.”

https://vallisgradalis.wordpress.com/

Join me on my healing quest through the Valley of the Holy Grail, where I walk as both Parsifal and the wounded Fisher King. This space will be a living, ever-changing laboratory, a path unfolding step by step.

Here I will record and share what I actually practice and discover: charting my way astrologically through the Tree of Life, guided by the Tarot’s archetypes. With the aid of AI as my scribe and mirror, I explore dreams, meet the shadow, and weave them back into wholeness. Daily magick ritual, yoga and meditation are some of the tools on this pilgrimage. Experience will be explored through multiple reality tunnels.

The Great Work before me is to transmute the fire of my chronic Lyme inflammation into Light.

This valley is the Grail itself, both vessel and voyage.

The journey begins on September 2nd at Vallis Gradalis

I've had so many dreams like this

From Lon Milo DuQuette's Low Magick:

"You know you're out of your body...
  • When forward or upward movement in a dream becomes difficult or impossible to continue. For example: you are walking down a dream sidewalk, walking up stairs, or driving or bicycling down a road and you suddenly find your legs are too heavy to move or the car or bike breaks down. This indicates that you are moving from a lower/slower vibratory level into a higher/more subtle vibratory level, one that your big fat dream vehicles can't enter. If you are lucid at this moment, you can stop walking or riding or driving and will yourself to fly forward, leaving your grosser body behind."
Finally looking forward to another one of those, just had one last week and I freaking hated them. I always woke up feeling like I was in a long queue all night. The book is really great, I'm almost finished with it. I could have done without the long Tarot card advertisement chapter but there's some interesting Goetia-Tarot reference material in there at least.

Happy Moonday

Happy Moonday! Day of the Moon. Linked to Yesod - Foundation - The Subconscious. And my first day at my new job. I start with two weeks of training learning the System I'll be supporting.

I once had a lucid dream wherein I realized I was dreaming, but I was not able to change my surroundings. I was on a long abandoned road with on each side endless bodies of still water, and a huge Moon lighting up a dark sky. I was in a convertible car and thought ok, I can't change anything, but why would I want to? How about just enjoying this amazing view. So I got into the backseat and stretched out, arms behind my head and just stared at this wonderful sight.

Dreams can be hilarious

What if I told you I had a dream last week, and I realized I was dreaming in this dream, and decided to sit down, and call upon my "HGA". So I do this, and do my breathing and kundalini visualising exercise as I repeat a mantra calling on my HGA. And suddenly I hear and feel a buzzing of energy, but nothing happens, so I just keep at it removing lust of result, and the buzzing and whirling starts again. And suddenly I'm in a forest, with the image of the fictional Pai Mei, and I ask him, "should I really pursue this NLP career?" And his answer was, while skipping about between some trees, and I shit you not: "yeah yeah sure, I'll keep you motivated, and read some Castaneda."
LOL. I woke up laughing out loud. So nearly finished with The Teaching of Don Juan :p, already heard the 3 audiobooks circling around the web years ago which I will re-listen to, will read the rest too lol. No idea what I'm supposed to get from this material but hey! Can't hurt lol.

Terence Mckenna: DMT trip in dreams and the future

"...I mean that's language, and it's magic, and we have a fascination then, we also paint, then we sculpt, then we write, then we create electronic databases, then film, television, clearly what we want to do is we want to communicate visually, and these things are saying: "there's a way to do it, do it," and I don't understand do we all have to be loaded on DMT all the time? Can you learn to do this? The gentleman who asked about dreams, here's a piece of information that is critical in this jiggsaw puzzle:
If you have smoked DMT at any time in the past, it is possible to have a dream, in which people are running around and you're checked into the Mars hotel and the luggage is lost and this and that, and in the middle of all that someone drags out a little glass pipe and hands it to you, and it will happen, it will happen in the dream.
Not a memory, not a simulacrum, it will really happen. Well, to me that's an amazing piece of data, because what it's saying is you can do it on the natch (without use of drugs). You may have to be dead asleep but still, on the natch this can be done. And the lucid dreamers, the bio-feedback people, the people who claim these wonderful things that you can do with sleep and dream and programming, I challenge them, teach people to have DMT dreams in their sleep, and then let's figure out how to drag that puppy out into the light. So we can do it at will, on the natch.
I think and there's scientific evidence to support this, remember I said DMT is in the human brain. Well it concentrates in the human cerebro spinal fluid on a 24 hour cycle and it reaches its peak of concentration between 3 and 4 am in most people, that's when the deep REM sleep is happening, when you give somebody DMT, they lay back, they close their eyes and the way you the guide, the sitter, I don't like the word guide, you the sitter, the way you can tell that they're getting off is their eyes dart wildly behind their closed eyelids, it means they're in REM, they're in REM sleep, they've been immediately shoved into deep dreaming.
So I believe that what DMT is doing in normal human metabolism is it mediates the descent, the spiral descent into dream and that every single night we are reuinted with the boundriless oceanic mystery of being that we are so frantic about in waking life and so distant from. And that if we could in fact just engineer a drug that would allow us to remain fully conscious as we drift deeper into dream we would need no other drug or substance, that that's where we want to go, and I think that's where history is headed.
What the archaic revival is about is a revivification of the aboriginal dreamtime, we are going to live in the imagination, we are preparing to decamp from 3-dimensional space, I mean yes the earth is the cradle of the human race, but you don't stay in the cradle forever you know. And it's something like going into dream, it's something like taking the hypertechnical virtual reality internet head of the snake, and inserting the shamanic late-paleolithic ecstatic orgiastic tail of the snake, and then you have the oroboric completion. Then you have the quintessence and the work is complete and history ends and we live then in the light of the stone made manifest."

Namkhai Norbu - Dream Yoga and the Practice of Natural Light (teaser)

Dreams have also inspired important scientific advances. Perhaps the most celebrated of these is the discovery of the molecular structure of benzene by Kekule. His account: "My mind was elsewhere... I turned the chair to the fireplace, and fell half asleep. Again the atoms gamboled in front of my eyes. Smaller groups this time kept mostly in the background. My mind’s eye, trained by repeated visions of the same sort, now distinguished larger formations of various shapes. Long chains... everything in movement, twisting and turning like snakes. And look what was that? One snake grabbed its own tail, and mockingly the shape whirled before my eyes. I awoke as if struck by lightning; this time again I spent the rest of the night working out its consequences."

The Russian chemist Mendelev discovered the periodic table method of classifying elements according to atomic weight while dreaming. Elias Howe completed his invention of the sewing machine while dreaming. Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity came to him partly in a dream.

Other dream-inspired creations include literary masterpieces such as Dante’s Divine Comedy, Voltaire’s Candide, “The Raven” by Poe and Ulysses by James Joyce. Robert Louis Stevenson was able to formulate stories while dreaming, which he later wrote down and published. Even some popular music compositions by Billy Joel and Paul McCartney have come in dreams.

Such unusual dreams notwithstanding, our society as a whole has lost touch with the art of dreaming. Recently, however, a widespread interest in the creative power of dreams has surfaced, emerging from several divergent disciplines, including science, western depth psychology, the increasing awareness of native cultures, and religion.

Advanced Lucid Dreaming: part 1

All videos here at the Lucidipedia Youtube channel

Since quitting Marijuana completely more than a week ago (a post about that in progress) I am totally focusing on the mystical path again, and one of the branches is keeping a dream journal. To give you an idea of what you're missing if you don't actively try to remember your dreams... this week in my dreamworld I talked to Thom Yorke of Radiohead at a festival, flew around my grandparents house, and Snake Plissken blasted through a sci-fi steampunk train to help me fight off some Nazis. Can't wait to regain my lucidity!

Magical Egypt 8-part documentary

8 parts of the John Anthony West series Magical Egypt documentary are on youtube
Featuring Dr. Rick Strassman (DMT), Lon Milo DuQuette (Masonry and Lucid Dreaming), Robert Schochs (Geology and Geophysics Ph.D.) and also featuring the work of René Schwaller de Lubicz, which includes Ancient Egypt being well aware of the chakra system too, as they built the Temple of Luxor based on it.
The series can be a bit slow in parts, but is absolutely fascinating. Navigating the Afterlife is a must see episode, and its content can be compared to the Buddhist Bardo teachings.

What if they were right?
What if the afterlife was interactive?
What if your desires had gravity?
What if magic really worked?

Lucid Dreaming

Lucid dreaming is one of the most empowering tools to transform us from passive witnesses to active collaborators in our own dreaming process. But dream work can lead us to wonder: who is dreaming and who is awake? Are most of us asleep?
